I swear if the Cavs lose again, i'm gonna campaign for Shaq to be traded... We should beat a short handed T'Wolves team, but with the way we've been playing nothing will surprise me.

I wouldn't go back to the drawing board just three games into the season. I never thought Shaq would pan out in Cleveland, but they've left it way to late to change their minds.

Lakers/Mavericks should be a great game. Hopefully the Lakers are more interested than they were against the Clippers the other night. I don't think I'll be able to watch the game, which is a shame.

Lakers will probably blow out the Mavericks in an embarrassing fashion. GS and Phoenix should be a fun uptempo game to watch.

I don't know. The Mavs are going to be much better than what they showed against Washington, plus Pau Gasol will be playing for the first time in a few weeks (if he plays at all).

Bulls have to travel and play a back to back, we all saw what that did to San Antonio.

Hopefully we keep it respectable

The Bulls are a much younger team than the Spurs though.

I think the back-to-back thing is kind of over-rated though. It's not like the players are still travelling on tiny buses, they're flying in ultimate luxury planes. Their travel is always going to be comfortable and spacious, they should be able to play on consecutive nights in these circumstances (especially this early in the season).

Game of the night might be the magic vs. the nets. Vince carter and Ryan anderson go back to jersey and courtney lee can try and prove something to orlando that they made a mistake trading him. Lots of emotion in that game, should be real good. I wish it was nationally televised though.

Pau is out tonight.........but we should still handle the Mavs rather easily. And I didn't think that we played bad against the Clippers, PJ just put in the crappiest lineup that we could put on the floor in the 2nd quarter and squandered our lead. Seriously, it was almost like he was trying to let the Clippers back in the game. When the starters left the floor after the first quarter the Lakers had a 15 point lead........then Phil puts in a lineup of Mbenga, Powell, Walton, Vujacic, and Farmar for a stretch of about 6 minutes........Mbenga proceeds to fire up 5 consecutive midrange jumpers and our lead dwindles to 3 points by the time the starters get back in the game.........but hey, what did you expect was going to happen with that lineup in the game? Its almost like Phil was toying with the Clippers or something. If he wants to maintain leads he's going to need to keep at least 1 or 2 starters on the floor at all times..........which shouldn't be too hard considering that we have 4 guys in our starting lineup that are capable of being the focal point of the offense (even with Pau out). Better substituting from Phil, and that Clippers game would've been a 20-30 point blow out.

Orlando's Vince Carter sprained his left ankle in the second quarter against his former New Jersey Nets teammates on Friday and left the game.

A Magic spokesman said Carter's return to the game in which he scored 16 points was questionable. He was not on the bench for the start of the second half.

Carter was hurt with about 3:05 left in the quarter when he stepped on the foot of former Nets teammate Devin Harris as he dribbled near the top of the key. The 11-year veteran, who was acquired from New Jersey in the offseason, immediately fell to the floor and clutched his ankle.

Play was not stopped until Yi Jianlian scored a layup for the Nets at the other end of the floor and the Magic brought the ball back into the frontcourt.

Carter lay on the court for about a minute before limping to the Magic bench. He was briefly treated and then went back to the Orlando locker room.

Carter was having a spectacular game against his former teammates. He drove down the right side of the lane for a slam dunk on the opening possession and shot 5-of-7 in the first quarter for 12 points.

Carter and forward Ryan Anderson were shipped to Orlando on the day of the NBA draft for Courtney Lee, Rafer Alston and Tony Battie.

Get out of here. Rondo has 3 guys on his team better than him that is why he won. Now if Rondo and Rose are the top players on their team or the 2nd best players on their teams than you can compare with a win or not.

wat he is saying is that the comparison is worthless. he is right.

this isnt last year. the Celtics are 3 times better and dont need Rondo to be the star.

Rose is EVERYTHING to the bulls. if he scores 2 pts, they would lose by 40.

Rose's ankle isnt 100% so thats not fair. However if it was it still wouldnt have mattered because the Celtics stomped the Bulls in every facet of the game.

Someone tell me why Phil Jackson puts Sasha Vujacic in for half of the 3rd quarter as the first guard off the bench (especially when Shannon Brown was ON FIRE). Also why didn't Bynum play the entire 4th when he was eating up the glass in the 1st half and was probably the Lakers most productive player tonight?

I think a lot of times he likes to experiment with guys so that he knows later on in the season and playoffs what will work and what will not work.

He loses us a lot of games "experimenting". Sasha has been terrible for SO LONG, its time to give up on the guy. Why not put in Luke Walton since our offense was looking so stagnant? Or why not put Shannon Brown back in since he was obviously having a great night? It just doesn't make a lot of sense, and Phil does this crap ALL THE TIME. Like in our last game with the Clippers he played a lineup of Mbenga, Powell, Sasha, Farmar, and Brown for about 7 minutes in the 2nd quarter. When he inserted that lineup we had a 15 point lead, by the time he put the starters back in our lead was down to 3. Meanwhile I'm at home screaming at the television
