Which 2nd year player will have a breakout season?

The obvious answers are Derrick Rose and Brook Lopez but who else could surprise us all and play a big role for their team this season?

Russell Westbrook will have a major inpact on the success that the Thunder will have and I think OJ Mayo will have a very good year this year as well

Eric Gordon.

EG(Homer pick), Beasley, Thompson, Augustine, Oden, and Hibbert

Im of the opinion that all sophmores should improve but these guys should really get better.

rose, lopez for sure

michael beasley will show what he can do at the 4 and 3 spots this year :D

eric gordon should emerge as the clippers leading scorer

westbrook should have a great year at setting his teammates up. He should have a high assist avg.

randolph and speights might if they emerge as starters for there positions

ronbin lope and joe alexander can only go up from here

Gallinari...dude had 22 points last night and shot 7/13 from deep in only his 29th NBA game.

Beasley and Love. Beasley will score more points and Love will continue to be overlooked despite putting up 13/12 per game (my prediction).

Homer pick- Speights. This guy can ball, and has drawn some comparisons to Amare. Just to name a few, I see Rose, Love, Beasley, Mayo, Eric Gordon, Brook Lopez having a stellar year.

I'm sorry but Gallinari didn't impress me at all, all he did was wait in the 3 point line and just shoot when he got the ball

Michael Beasley will have a break out season :D

Rose-i see him averaging 20+ pts and 9 assists
Westbrook-looked nasty in his first game (that no look pass to durant was sick). i expect his ast/turnover ratio to improve a lot this year with better decision making
Gallinari-7 of 13 from beyond the arc looks good in his first game of the season, but I'd like to see him do more than just shoot the 3
Beasley- stats should improve, along with his minutes
Lopez- future 20/10 guy

Other than the obvious answers (Rose, Lopez. Mayo, Gordon, Westbrook) I think Speights (26 points last night), Randolph and Lee could impress.

Thats what shooters do.... They shoot

if standing in the 3point line and shooting everytime he gets the ball is all he does then he's a horrible pick for a 6th pick

Homer pick lopez. he had an impressive opening night but for some reason i get the feeling that he's unclutch. i saw it last year vs miami and a other couple late game situations. then last night. still had a monster line 27 15 4 4
