i said it once ill say it again, in 2 years watch out for the nets, but a huge upside is that the bulls have the youngest line-up of teams that made the playoffs...ow yeah

LOL I think we will compete for the playoffs, we are a good defensive team, we just lack a go to scorer. ANd im not really sure what our cap is lookin like, hopefully well be able to make some moves. Im still pretty bumbed out MJ drafted DJ instead of brook lopez

Look for them T-wolves to make a name for themselves in a few years. They are young, have lots of high draft picks and will have mucho cap space to add pieces. Plus, the Rubio trade sweepstakes in a few years could bring in quite the bounty.

The Bulls are just filthy (in a good way). lol They should be in the running for the East for many years to come.

the lakers, defending champions, have a pretty young squad too. With their current lineup, with fisher at the point, they have an average age in the starting lineup of 29.4. If you sub in shannon brown for fish(which is forthcoming) the average age of their starting lineup is 27.2

In other words, don't expect them to be falling off the top anytime soon...

I agree, the T'Wolves future looks really bright. If Jonny Flynn can develop into a 15/7 guy (which I think he easily will, probably more) and Al Jeff and Kevin Love stay injury free (when Love returns) they will be a dangerous young team. I think Wayne Ellington will develop into a great spot up shooter and role player for the team. In 2 years time the T'Wolves will have the best frontcourt in the league and the rights to Rubio could play a big part in helping bring a star to the team. With the cap room they have for 2010 they can add what they need the most... A wing player who can carry his team and create his own shot (LeBron comes to mind, but he's staying in Cleveland).

The Nets look very promising as well.

Too much Bulls love in this thread...

Where are the Celtics on that list?

Where's Mavrix to proclaim the Mavericks are the best team in league?

29.4 is quite old for a starting 5... But regardless, the Lakers being on top is all dependent on how long Kobe can be effective for, simple. For example, if he plays at a high level for another 3 years, they will contend for another 3 years.

What is the source for this list? Did you just go through and add them up yourself? Can we get the rest of the list?

And DAMN Dallas is old.

Interesting, everyone drools over the youth of the Blazers, when they really aren't that young as other teams are.

Out of teams from that list, New Jersey, Chicago, and OKC are going to be pretty nasty in a couple of years.

I have a feeling the Nets and the Bulls are going to be a pain in the *** for the Pacers for the next 5 years. There are some teams with solid young cores in the East

What is this based off of? Most people don't know every team's starting lineups so I'm skeptical.
