Either he becomes a bust or live up to being the number one draft pick... What do you expect out of him?

16 - 11 guy.

He'll be a good defensive center. I can see 16 and 12 a year with 2 blocks a game.

I completely agree. He just need an injury free season and the coach to give him sufficient minutes and he'll produce. If he puts up 18/11/2 he'll live up to his number 1 pick status.

The key for Oden is staying injury free. Last year in just 21 mins a game, he averaged 9, 8, and a block. He won the starting job this year, and if he gets 30 mins a game and avoids foul trouble, I have a feeling that 14, 10, and 2 are within reach, if not better.

He won't be better than the guy that was drafted right after him...

10-11 points, 7-9 rebounds, 2-3 blocks, and about 4-6 fouls a game.

I expect him to stay healthy and out of foul trouble and the rest will be fine.

Roy and Aldridge will flourish(even more so than present) with a dependable Oden in the middle,

Best center in the game next year as long as Yao is out.

PF and Oden should easily surpass him.

12/10 guy with 2 blocks a game. Its what the Blazers need, so I guess he does his job as long as he stays healthy and out of foul trouble.

Best center in the league? Sounds like he's forgetting a lot of people who have actually produced and not gotten injured.

He's gonna be a above avg. center. I love Portland and Oden and I hope he would be great but I don't See it. I could see him being a Camby or J.Oneal type Big Man whose always injury prone. But puts up descent numbers when healthy.

That would make him an elite, top tier center.

I labeled him a bust as soon as he came out of the draft and I haven't seen anything special to change my mind. I see him averaging a 12 n 10 at most. The Blazers should be kicking themselves for not drafting Durant. I smell a 84' in the progress once again

Yeah that's what I expect with Baron Davis,Kaman and Camby too. Looks like Griffin has already got the ball rolling for the Clippers in that dept.
