So I was just thinking under the influence and I got to pondering...

Which top superstar would Dirk Nowitzki best compliment? We've seen how well the merger of Gasol, Kobe, and Lakers has gone, so who do you think he would most benefit?

**Off topic-Blind Eye is a terrific book...

LeBron James...and dirk are to hardest physical match ups (not including including centers) dirk will be open all day on the perimeter with all the size of the team primary foccus on keeping lebron away from the basket plus lebron makes everyone better...possible others:
2. CP3 3.Kobe 4. Tony Parker

Chris Paul definently. I mean look at what Paul does for David West... Dirk would have it so easy.

Dwight Howard

Dwight Howard

I was going to say the same thing. Usually in a case like this, you want to pair a big with a guard (and it is hard to argue against Chris Paul for this spot), but Dwight and Dirk complement each other so perfectly its not even funny. There is nothing that front court tandem couldn't do.

deff Dwight Howard.

If you added D.Howard to the Mavs roster right now, Dallas would be unstoppable..

C- D.Howard
PF- Nowitzki
SF- Marion
SG- J.Howard/Terry
PG- Kidd

he needs a REAL big man that can deffend and rebound.

So yep Howard would need to be his number 1 option.

LeBron. Because LeBron is a driver and Nowitzki is a shooter. It's a unique inside outside threat.

1. LBJ
2. CP3
3. D-Wade
4. D. Howard
5. D. Williams (could you imagine these two in a pick and pop offense)

Not the same thing IMO. The Mavs and Nash were better of without each other. Dirk style doesnt fit with that great passing PG it seems, i would have to say Kobe, or even KG to take some pressure of D and rebounding away from him

Not true, if playing against Orlando, Pietrus plays outside defense on Lebron then when LBJ beats him Howard comes in with help d. Lewis can guard Dirk all-day all-night, his best matchup in the NBA.

I agree that Lebron is his best compliment though, just saying they aren't unstoppable like you mentioned.
