You may think Courtney Lee is a bit reticient, maybe even shy. Think again. In an interview with Dime, Lee lets everyone know just how good he thinks he and the Nets are going to be. Talking about his experience with the Magic, Lee admits he felt constrained as role player. Not with the Nets…”now that I’ve got my wings up free.” He also predicts, “We’re looking to be good right away.”

Courtney is def the real deal, hate to see him leave the magic and stay in the Eastern Conf., we'll be dealing with him for awhile.

Well, I just hope that he learned how to make a layup over the summer because without the fundamentals, he won't be good.

constrained? how? the magic let him do all that he can. i really dont know why he keeps bringing up the magic. is he really that bitter that the magic traded him? get over it already, maybe if you would of stepped up more in the finals and didnt miss that easy ally oop to lose the game for the magic then the magic maybe wouldnt of traded you.

i dont agree with him being contrained...but Lee is going to be a good player...the finals experience and being traded from a title contender will motivate him to be alot better than last year...

yes but...

Harris, Lee AND BROOK "Wall" LOPEZ is even better. we got 3 young rising stars. to go with a top FA to sign in 2010...

yeah i agree...you have 3 yound studs playing together and going through the same experiences...if i was Dwayne Wade or Chris Bosh i would def. consider this squad as a FA. But it also depends on how much Harris and Lopez grows as players and also if they sign two decent vets to the bench. Then you could have yourself a really good young team in the East.

I think the trade lit a fire in him. He his real motivated to work hard and become a great player. Especially against the magic. Watch out Orlando I figure he is going to bring his A game everytime he plays you guys.

no way. rip hamilton is amazing off the ball. courtney lee is only a small bit like rip. lol people thought he'd start being rip all of the sudden cuz of the mask.

He'd have to beat CDR for the starting spot first. I like that they're pushing each other to be better. I hope he wants to stay for the long haul.

IMHO, comin from a Magic fan, T will or CDR have a better chance at becomming studs. (CDR might not but I can tell T will be). Athleticism is important at the 2 and 3 and Lee doesnt have the size or athleticism that T Will has.

Id see the big 3 as T will Brook n Harris not Lee. Lee wont be any better too be honest, he was a good role player. N just cuz he wore a mask doesnt make him RIP hamilton.

Y cant he just be honest and say, "wow I was so fortunate to be playing with Dwight Howard and 2 1/2 other all stars who the opponents had to watch, which left me WIDE OPEN most the time...And when I get my chance to shine I miss an easy lay up."

I wouldnt be hard on Lee, but he's startin to be a ****. I dont expect him getting the shots he did in Orlando

I do not think he is quite rip but lookin at his game he is similar. He is going to be a big scoring option so if he shoots the same percentages and improves his moves off the ball I can see him being good. Give the kid a chance.. gotta love his confidence

Actually we have the most money to spend. And now you knocked us down to the 3rd richest owner  Not that that makes that much difference as much as us having the most money to spend.
I believe in Lee because he believes in himself so much.

wallerstud06

yeah i forgot that they have 2 1st round picks and they are also moving to Brooklyn...they have the best upside of the two NY teams in my opinion...but honestly do you see Lebron going there. The knicks have the best arena an fans in the country and they have money and a draft pick to use *** well...i see Dwayne Wade going there if he does not go to Chicago.

what you think about using the 2 1st round picks and an expiring to try and land the #1 pick and also tossing in Devin Harris...draft John Wall...or would would you use the picks and try and draft decent role players
