WOW!!! Greg Oden is going to have a breakout season if he stays healthy. In first two preseason games he was just awesome. If this an indication of the beginning of something great, than it's all good for the game. I am a Heat fan but I will love to see him living up to the hype. My predictions are: He will win the most improved player award IF he stays healthy at least for 60/65 games. Blazers are gonna be really good too. I think they were missing a dominant low post presence. what y'll think??

ok, just close this thread before the oden hype gets outta control. its freakin preseason! Let freakin Oct 27th and so forth come. this is utter crap.

Plz I beg all PSD posters, stop the unnecessary hyping of Oden, Bynum, Griffin, and the underhyping of GOAT Mark Blount

I'm going to repeat this. The Kings did not have a center on the floor tonight... no center = other teams center is going to dominate, especially if your huge like Greg Oden. Last night Specer Hawes was injured and played limited minutes... again setting up Oden for a huge game.

Oden is gonna be a serviceable starter and he has all the tools in the world to become that dominant big man he was hyped up to be. I think he is too much of an athlete to just become an average center. I expect domination from him, but maybe in a year or 2.

I think its too early your way overhyping him I mean he has potential lots of it, but am going to disagree with you. I dont think he is going to be as dominate as everybody says he will be good but not dominate the reason why I say that he is injured prone you never know when he might get injured again this season.

The Kings were short handed but they had no answer for him and he could have dropped 30 on em easy. It's preseason but it's a sign of what's to come any way you slice it. Lotta teams are using PF's to guard ctrs and Oden is much faster and mobile than what yo saw last yr so dont expect the Forwards to work on him this yr.
He'll silence the critics this yr!
