Out of the Cleveland Cavaliers, Orlando Magic and Boston Celtics, who needs HCA (Homecourt Advantage/Top seed) the most for the playoffs next season in the EAST?

I'm just listing the top contenders in each Conference and the teams that are the odds on favorites.

GREATNESS ONE

This one for me is easily Orlando. We saw What Cleveland did with HC last year and this year with a Vet addition like Shaq I dont think HC will be as Important.

Plus I don't see Orlando beating Boston in there house in game 7.

Boston.

They struggled on the road last year and lasted 7 games both series this year.

Obvious Cleveland plays their best ball at home, a healthy Boston would be #2 and Orlando seems like they could care less.

The only problem is if one of them ends up the 3 seed, they would have to win probably 3 series without HCA.

The Cavs need it more than the other 2, they weren't good against the top teams on the road.

THe Celts need it the 2nd most b/c they got blown out at home in game 7, so who knows what would have happend in O-town

THe Magic had the best road record in the East last year and 2nd to only the Lakers and won huge games on the road in the playoffs last year, so I don't think they care

I'll go with Boston. last season they struggled in the playoffs plus there old news.

With Cleveland, lebron is just a freak of nature it doesnt matter if he is at home or in the north pole he will still play like a crazy man.

Orlando has a good squad this year and its deep. They will have one of the top 3 records in the nba.

I say Boston because in the 08 playoffs the HCA may be the only thing that got them past the first and second round because if they would have had to play Atlanta or Cleveland away for game 7 we would be looking at a different 2008 NBA champion

True, but like I said, the Magic play really well on the road, correct me if I'm wrong but I think they had the most road wins in the playoffs. With that being said, if they can secure the #1 or #2 and win HCA for a few more series, that would just be gravy. Cavs need the home court, as do the Celts, both teams struggled on the road in the playoffs last year.

Cleveland is the best at home, so I would say them

Out of all three of those teams I would say that Cleveland needs the homecourt advantage more. The Cavs struggled against the top teams on the road, so I think it would be very important for them to secure the top spot.
