Allen Iverson had been wearing a Grizzlies practice jersey for all of two hours when coach Lionel Hollins, surrounded by television cameras and notebook-toting reporters, asked the media a question of his own:

"Are you going to ask me about him after every practice?"

Asked about his early impressions of Iverson at camp last week, Hollins said: "There are a lot of good players in this league, they all come to practice and training camp, they all go through the workouts and do the same thing, they all have friends on the team. He's no different than any other player."

I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but so what?

This is just unnecessary speculation on the Iverson signing.

Iversons hamstring injury is a blessing in disguise (maybe I should leave the 'in disguise part)...It'll allow Conley and Mayo to establish themselves as legitimate starting backcourt. By the time the AI comes back from his injury, he will even less reasoning why he should start. He is best suited in the Vinny Johnson role off the bench...as is Ben Gordon.
