According to Jorge himself Jose Molina will catch AJ Burnett during the ALDS. As a Yankee fan it seems silly to me that Burnett can't get his head out of his *** and be more "comfortable" with Jorgie. So the Yankees will be without there primary #6 hitter and will replace him with a light hitting back-up. Feel free to trash or defend Girardi and this decision.

I love how you pretend not to care, this is an interesting story and it could give you all material for your favorite whipping post! It's in the Yankee forum but that will be mostly defending it. It's tha Playoffs and they are pissing away the advantage of having a catcher who can rake for a mental midget making 17.5 mil to whine about being comfortable with his catcher.

Not to mention this means Posada will inevetibaly pinch hit and you will be without a back-up catcher or you can carry a third catcher on a 25 man roster.

If A.J. doesn't want Posada catching-it's his call.

I always thought Posada sucked as a catcher.

A lot of good pitchers work with the backup as a personal catcher. Its not like its some odd thing we haven't seen before.

But it is odd in the playoffs. And most catchers don't carry an .885 OPS with them, and have it be over 300 points higher than the backup. It's just a really dumb decision.
