I think this is about right.
If he starts, it might be a little more but I doubt it. Assist might be down a bit.

traded for a second rounder and cash from one of the second line contenders like hawks, mavs, raptors or so by mid season

22ppg, 6.7apg, 3.1rpg in 34mpg

He will rebuild his reputation by going about his business and trying to help the young guys out in Memphis, but they will be 10 games under .500 by the All Star break.

Since he is still proving to be a high quality player, and hasn't been a distraction, a contending team will take a flyer on him to get them over the hump. That team will give up a young player and a draft pick(s) for Iverson.

Book it.

Griz: 36-46

I beleive he'll improve the Griz a lil bit by showing them his veteranism.

Memphis goes 26-56.
Iverson stunts Conley's development.
The Grizz are last in assists
16/4/4.
Sorry, hate to be so negative, I just don't get the point of signing Iverson. It was obviously purely for ticket sales.

i was also thinking the same. i think AI signed with memphis so he can get his inflated stats (25ppg 6-7 apg) and build his rep again then get traded to a team like atlanta, houston, charlotte, chicago, golden state or maybe even the cavs if they struggle for someone young or an up and comer or someone who wants out like stephen jackson, maybe monta ellis or gerald wallace. win win for AI and memphis in the long run

He'll basically have same stats when he first got traded to DEN and played half season with like 24ppg but he'll have a increase in assists like around 8/9 cuz post presence with ZACH and also they will be running same fast past offense so with GAY/MAYO on wings and AI comin at u full tilt..look out, they'll get 45+ wins and you can book it...add on the 2steals and 3/4 boards with like 38-40min per...they got AI to be AI the GRIZZ owner been loving AI since they both share HOYA ties...he was more efficient with MELO after trade and he'll be even more efficient with more scorers around him now, hes basically playin with 2 borderline young all stars and ZACH puts up ALL STAR numbers no matter his team record...do yall ever remember watchin his rookie game and 10 ALL STAR games hes been MVP 3 times...its common sense in any team sport u perform better with more talent around you, and it really shows in team wins/titles, hes done it all individual wise...

He will average about 22ppg, 6-7apg, 2.0spg.
He will have at least 5, 40 point games and at least 5 games with 30,10.
The team will go 39-43.
He get the all star nod, and a shot at all star game MVP.
He will demonstrate a bit of leadership and change in his game and the critics will not what to say.

Next season, he will sign with a top 8 team in the NBA and find a role which suits him during this new stage in his career. Allen will be back in the playoffs, into the second round for the first time in years in the 2010-11 season.

Stats, how his career will play out, team wins, cancer or a positive veteran role model for the younger players?

One of three possible situations: (ranked in order from best-to-worst)

1) AI comes off the bench as a combo guard, for anywhere between 30-39mpg, puts up 20+ppg, 6+apg and 2+spg, makes Memphis a playoff contention team (40+wins) and wins the 2010 Sixth Man award. This will land him a contract with a Top 5 contender team (LA, San Antonio, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando [least likely]) in 2010.

2) AI starts at PG, again plays anywhere between 30-39mpg, puts up 25+ppg, 7+apg and 2+spg, puts on a show in Memphis and the Grizz wins 30-40 games. This will land him a bigger contract with a borderline team (8th-12th in the East/West) in 2010.

3) AI starts the season on the bench, complains about touches and minutes, is moved to the starting lineup, the team still doesn't improve and he is traded midseason or held onto and let go at the end of the season. This will land him into Europe or early retirement in 2010.

I think he'll either do suprisingly well deferring to his young teammates or combust when he doesn't get enough touches. I don't know how much he has learned from last season. It'll be intersting to watch.

Either way, the Grizzlies won't make much noise....this team is too instable.

one thing is for sure the more shots he takes and the more points he averages the less wins memphis gets.

Im counting the minutes until Gasol Jr and/Or conley demand to be traded fed up of the Fantastbrick Four shooitng the ball no matter if they have three gusy on them and other teammates are open and not caring bout team.
