If he were to go anywhere else it would be to play for D'Antoni since that was his favorite player.

Doubt it though. After all this time and having the team he's on now...that'd be kinda shocking.

I don't think so... The Lakers have proven that they can win a championship... If they lose this year, they still have a chance to win it the year... (I hope they don't win any though... LOL)

I know it was a joke, I'm just saying that's where he might go if he decided to leave, which is about a 3% or less chance probably.

Why would he leave a talented team like the Lakers. Would be dumb to even consider it. If he didn't leave the lakers when they were in the rebuilding process, why would he leave a championship team.

Why the hell would you even make this thread? Out of all the people here on PSD, being from LA, don't you know how big the guy is for the city and the Lakers?

No, that was just a bluff. He just wanted some kind of player that would help them win. That is the year when they got Pau Gasol

Why would he leave? He'd be starting all over again by going somewhere else. The Lakers are contenders for years to come with this squad.

I never said I wanted him to go to the Clippers.
Besides, I never disliked the Lakers, I always have liked them.
I just made the thread because its a big free agency next year, considering the possibilities.
Why are you calling me stupid if it's just curiosity?
Calm down...

kobe is one of those players that will remain with one team (reggie miller, bird, magic, john stockton)

i could see him playing for another team when he's really old just for the hell of it though, just like jordan, barkley, malone at the later part of their career.

i think he'll play in philly or chicago lol.

Ey, you never know.
Baron Davis left Golden State where he felt at home and taking his team to the playoffs the previous season for a crappy team like the Clippers.

Will Kobe leave as a free agent and sign with another team?

Yeah he will leave the most talented 6-man rotation in the NBA just because they fall short of their goal one season. Not likely, Kobe will retire a Laker, through thick and thin and I for one am glad.

lol, mj wanted to compensate for the dumb moves he made as part owner like when he brought kwame etc. Hell, after his 1st yr playin with the wiz, he traded rip hamilton to detroit for stackhouse :speechless:

barkley went to houston to win a title with hakeem and drexler, but they didnt, and malone went to the lakers not "just for the hell of it", but to win a title with kobe/shaq/gp/phil in la, which they didnt :(
