Not sure how many of us are gonna remember CBS. But I grew up with NBA and NBC...and it was the ish.

I don't mind TNT at all...

I actually don't mind any of them. But I miss the NBA on NBC.

I have to go with TNT currently but that is strictly because of the commentators that they have

Comcast Sportsnet because Tommy Heinson is the biggest Celtics homer in the world.

National I would go with TNT because of Barkley on the pregame, postgame and halftime.

Dont like the Van Gundy team or the combo of Wilbon, Stew Scott and Magic.

NBC was just too good. And we got Hannah Storm at halftime.

NBA on TNT simply because of Kenny, EJ and Chuck. But a close 2nd to NBA on NBC, it's where I fell in love with the game. 2nd only because Bill Walton annoys me to the point of rage with his senseless comments on "the majestic beauty of the game" and how it's critical players understand it when scoring anything over 20ppg.

the NBA on NBC was the best. the theme song, the announcers, the coverage was just awesome.

i dont mind TNT at all either. i sorta remember being real young and cbs broadcasting the NBA, but the tapes ive seen it seems like it was excellent coverage.

ESPN and ABC is a joke, whatever ESPN touches they butcher it up. horrible

Is that Canada based?

lol TSN2 is canada based. The only games that play on basic cable in canada are games on ABC, sometimes on TSN but rarley and sometimes on CBC but rarely... all the games are on TSN2 and the Score which are specialty channels, so i barely ever get to watch the raptors, how much does that suck

Ya I loved NBC too but nothing beats Lakers games on FS West

ur kidding, rite????

ever since Chick Hearn passed away, the coveraged has sucked. it is somewhat respectable with Billy Mac, Rick Fox, and Norm Nixon (who ain't all that great)

remember those yrs with Paul Saunderland (wasn't that bad, but he was no Chick), freakin Jack Haley, Paul Westphal, and the monotonous and boring arse Joel Meyers.

Holy crap, FSN is garbage. I can't wait till the Laker games are televised on TNT or ESPN, hell, even freakin ABC. the FSN of now is nothing compared to the FSN in the early 2000s.

NBA on NBC no doubt... it was an event back in the day. TNT is mostly tuesday and thursday right? NBA on NBC played all the big games on the weekend, especially Sunday. Their intro's were crazy cool too, got you soo hyped up.

The NBA only gets more competitive as the talent pool increases with the world population. As a result, the networks airing the latest rivalries are probably the best to watch basketball on.

nothing beat the triple headers on nbcin the early to mid 90's!!!!!!!!!!!! remember it would be like knicks/bull, pacers/heat, then like orlando/ rockets or showtime lakers vs run tmc warriors or something. that was the best with marv albert. i like tnt too besides my local one of course.

Most of this generation (internet age) grew up watching Jordan and NBA on NBC. Back then there were more nationally broadcasted games because Cable was not as widespread.
