In his prime, Shaq.

I don't even think Lebron(who is 6'9" and 260 pounds of muscle)is strong enough to go on a 350 pound beast.

Dike, swatted anything that came at em, a defensive stalwart. He barely got dunked on.

well shaq didn't even really try...lol he knows when to get out the way...

so whats worse, getting dunked on or not trying

but if you go to 30 seconds you can see that he basically did get dunked on...

this is more legit and actually quite impressive though...

Keep in mind those stats were not keep back in the day of Chamberlain and Russell.

Olajuwon would be my second choice behind the best defender of alltime Bill Russell. Russell was a blocking machine.

It would probably be hardest to dunk on ricky davis. Since he doesn't know what defense is, you'd have to jump from damn near the 3 point line to dunk on him, since he'd never actually venture anywhere near the basket to play D.

In his prime, Shaq... Now, still Shaq.

How many times have you seen Hakeem/Dikembe/Robinson/Zo get dunked on. How many times have you seen Shaq get dunked on - and by dunk, I mean a proper dunk (not the supposed one that "Bynum dunks on Shaq" LOL.

This is the only real dunk I have seen on Shaq: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A6G8t6zsyI

Why is Dwight not on this list? 6'11" 270lbs 40+"vert and can touch a bit over 13', by far the hardest player to dunk over head on.

Btw for the guys on the list, Hakeem the Dream gets my vote.

I went with the dream. I know Shaq in his prime was a machine, but as it was mentioned earlier he would just knock you to the floor if he thought you might get one on him, if its hardest player to dunk on without getting blocked i say the dream. hardest to dunk on without getting your face fouled off of your face, i'd say shaq. Boy its a tough one, but my vote went to Hakeem....

That's why my post said "HEAD ON" the only head on dunk of the 3 was Kobe's and Dwight didn't even jump, the other two were soft as hell. I'm talking both players ready and going straight at one another.

Again, the concept is dunking over the player head on, like what Carter did to Mourning. When I see Dwight get dunked on like that, then I'll take my cap off in respect.

Shaq as a Laker when he was at his biggest and best just didn't get dunked on. He might not be the best shot blocker, but people still didn't dunk on him.

Np, defender under the rim, the wing player near the 3pt line, eye contact is made and the rest is history.
For example (VC on Zo): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k7hhxkh4oOs

Dwight is 6'11", standing reach is 9'4", has over a 40" vertical and if getting over him isn't difficult enough, add the fact that he is shredded at 270lbs so overpowering him is out of the question. If Dwight is ever dunked on like Zo was, I'd give the guy who jammed on him mad props, it would be a great feat and probably the best dunk on I'd ever see.

Your just using that based on the Carter dunk. It is rare occasion to make "eye contact" from the "3-point line" and then dunk on the big. Dwight has been posterized a couple of times and he isn't as hard to dunk on as Shaq was.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJWt5NpIfzg

Hopefully this is a better example of "head on".

Hakeem he just seemed to block and swat everything that tried to dunk on him. He also played spectacular "D" at the rim. Shaq's just big he just gets out of the way as slow and sloppy as he can. His skills come from enormous size and strength not real skilled talent.

No and no, I guess I should've put this in my earlier post, but to me it only counts if the defense is set. KB24, I get what you mean, but my point is I want to see both guys at their very best when Dwight is jammed on. I know it doesn't happen much, but it would be a pleasure to watch.

PS: The Odom one was pretty damn sweet!
