What would be a bigger story in NASCAR if it happened.
Jimmie Johnson winning 4th straight Championship or Mark Martin winning first Championship at 50.

Martin winning it age 50. It would be huge and most everyone would love it which is the exact opposite of how most would feel if Jimmie won his 4th straight. As much as I want Jimmie to win 4 in a row, and irritate people even more, I'm not gonna lie, I would love to see Mark win it.

I say J.J. winning a fourth championship in a row will be the bigger story. A year or two from now nobody will be talking about Martin winning but if Jimmy wins a 4th straight championship this story will a lot bigger for years to come. Not many teams in any sports have ever won 4 championships in a row(I think the last was the New York Islanders 4 Stanley Cup in the early 80's) and in NASCAR only Jimmy and Cale Yarborough have ever won three in a row. Even King Richard and Dale Earnhardt ever won more then two in a row.

I think he meant right after this year is over, which I think Martin winning it would. But I also agree with you in saying in the long run years from now more people would remember Jimmie winning 4 in a row.
