Fighting the urge to post Melo's game winner, which broke a few hearts as well...

Fortunately the offseason's almost over and we'll soon have some fresh NBA action to feast our eyes on...

Hey, it's not Melo's fault that Antoine Wright sucks at fouling.

Dude this is the like the 2nd or 3rd time I've seen this same thread. It's been posted before. Even though it's funny and a joke, it's old Dirk hit a winner, kid holds his hands in prayer style, boo hoo. come on kid never pray against the Germans...

When Dirk sunk that incredible shot at the end, my heart literally just stopped. It really was heart breaking to us Sixers fans. But then again, we were just cursed last season whenever it came to crunch time...I mean think about it, that insane half court shot from Devin Harris, Dirk and his fade away, it really was a weird season for us.

When the NBA comes out and apologizes for not making the call and you as a fan cant admit they should of called one, you know you are just being a homer.

I mean the NBA has apologized about like 5 things in the history of the league and this was one of them and you still cant admit they messed up. Unreal.

Nah, I know you just like calling me a homer, since you do it in nearly every post you direct at me, whether it's related to anything tangible or not. It's okay. I don't need to be liked by everybody.

But I just disagree. After Wright backed away off that first pansy-*** little chest bump (a type of foul that is OFTEN overlooked in the NBA), it looked a hell of a lot more to me (and apparently the refs, too) that he was trying to avoid fouling Melo, not to foul him. In the moment I still don't think "well, let them play through it, then" was a bad judgment. Wright hardly touched him, backpedaled, didn't sell it, when all it would have taken was a nice, neat little wrap up to remove any ambiguity. He just failed to do that.

I think it was a mistake for the NBA to apologize. They never apologize for not calling 99.99% of the other "bump no foul"s that happen in every single NBA game. They were just wussing out in the heat of controversy, imho.

Anyways, even if I were to concede your point and say it was that bad of a call (which I don't), maybe it was just karma (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkTmb1CPaJg).

You're wrong. Everyone sees that but Nugget fans. No reason to argue with you because you are set on your homeristic views, so just think what you wanna think. Either way your team got knocked around like the very average team they will prove to be next year when they got to the next round, so I hope making one WCF appearance on shady circumstances makes you happy.
