Pavlovic agrees to 1-yr deal w/ Wolves

Free agent Sasha Pavlovic has agreed in principle to a one-year, $1.4 million deal with the Timberwolves, according to Yahoo! Sports.

The Wolves under GM David Kahn continue to aggressively reshape the roster, and Pavlovic should prove an adequate backup at both SG and SF.

like it. He fits the bill. Still leaves space next summer, plays both wing spots, can defend, is tough as nails, and at 25, has already played a number of playoff games. He will also push Brewer in a developmental year.
For $1.5 million, again, Kahn makes a great decision.

Good pick up for T-Wolves... If they continue this, it looks like they've got a pretty damn good chance of being in the playoff picture in a few seasons.

Kahn is definitely proving himself worthy of being the Twolves' GM and surely would like to let everyone know that this is a new beginning for that franchise. Good move.

I would have locked him up at that price for more than one year!
Great pickup for no risk at all!

Good Pick up. Finally a 2 guard.
He can defend and shoot so that helps..
The wolves are now a 30 win team.. that's an improvement.

Nice pick up.
Never managed to crack the rotation at Cleveland, probably because of Mike Brown's love of undersized, hard nosed 2 guards, but he's a good player. More importantly though he's a great player for that amount of money...

With minutes I can see production.

I don't see where he fits on this team. He's not really a PG.

100% agree... they wont be in the playoffs next year but at least they have an intriguing team, something that probably hasn't been true the last couple of years in my opinion.

Exactly. They are building for the future while putting out a good product right now. Hell they could surprise and go .500 if Al Jeff makes a full recovery and if one of their young guys blossoms.

Do they have a 20 man roster? Seems like they've added a ton of people this offseason.

....on what basis?

Maybe if he was ****ing with the core of the team.

They've subtracted a ton of guys....just off the top of my head:

Craig Smith
Mike Miller
Sebastian Telfair
Randy Foye
Rodney Carney

....and that's not considering guys they have waived or will waive like Blount/Atkins.

Maybe if he was ****ing with the core of the team. Huh? I said he was a good addition cuz of his shooting. And maybe Kahn is making too many moves.

He's clearing a ton of cap space and is weeding out the spare parts.

pav is good at nailing 3's in crunch time to help win ballgames...considering the wolves wont be close to ever winning...not a needed addition

Hee- La - Rious now that is comedy:clap:

But on a more serious note this is a great move for the T-Wolves and I do not think he will back up anyone on this team i think he is a starter on this team with the roster that they currently have

Sasha > Ellington

now that he with the wolves he should be getting at least 15 min a game

WSU Tony

Sasha is a 1 year fill to help the learning curve of Ellington. Hell, by next year at this time we could have a young promissing SG the way Kahn has moved things around. Who the heck knows.

Yeah, I was serious that the Wolves are going to run with a team of all point guards. ... I think you take this a little too seriously, is what I think.

And as for what the Wolves are up to, I think I do have a clue. They have a young, new GM who is trying to make a name for himself and stockpiling talent. Maybe it's unorthodox, maybe it's not. It definitely can't be a bad thing. I am really curious, however, to see how the position battle between Flynn and Sessions plays out.
