Richard Jefferson suffered a dislocated right thumb during a workout at the Spurs' practice facility on Tuesday.

Jefferson's X-rays were negative, according to the Spurs.

The small forward will be examined again next week and a determination on when he can resume basketball activities will be reached then.

Hopefully he returns before start of season.

You are correct.

This injury is no big deal and should not hurt the Spurs come training camp.
