This guy is reestablishing himself to be a top 5 player in the league next year with this work ethic.

Last time I checked he had back problems and those workouts don't exactly show his back has improved.

Contrary to a lot of bball fans, I actually like T-Mac and want to see him do well. Hopefully, he can return and have a successful/healthy year. In his prime, he was easily a top 5 player in the NBA, top ten no question about it.

T-Mac looks like he's really putting some effort into the comeback. I don't think he'll fully return to his top form but, I do believe he'll be a top 20 player in the league especially with Yao out and him being the only legitimate scorer. Hopefully he's working for a run at the playoffs and not just a run for a new contract.

I hope he returns to his normal self. T-mac is a honest dude and I have much respect for him b/c of that.

T-Mac's back.
One thing though is interesting, when he had a good team, like last year, he was injured and didn't play well(I mean if the Houston's big three would've stayed together to the playoffs, they would've been one of my Champ contenders), NOW, when he has a pretty mediocre team, he seems to be a tip top shaped dude, and I'm pretty sure he'll be back to his old self, he's eyeing his Magic days and btw Magic was also a mediocre team.
Is it just a coinsidence or is T-Mac destined to never put up MVP numbers in a great team?

^ some good points- I think TMac needs to be the best on the team and first option, otherwise he loses motivation- good luck to him though, hope he gets back to top form

I hope Tmac comes back in his old form.

He's been grossly undervalued lately. People forget how great the dude was when he was healthy.

T-Mac is a douche bag. World of talent but injury prone and is broken down. The guy was predicting the Lakers to win when his team was playing them in the playoffs. What a great teammate.

When I read he was "back to his old form" I just assumed he was hurt again.

Last time I checked he had back problems and those workouts don't exactly show his back has improved.

Actually he just had micro-fracture knee surgery, so he's been working on recovering that knee.

Anyways, love the progress of McGrady, I hope he continues to work hard and prove everyone he's back to his All-Star status.

Man I can't wait until he steps back onto an NBA court. It's looks like T has gotten back some of his vertical jump, which means explosive dunks. If he can average for 25 ppg this year, I consider that a great comeback.

i doubt that he has much hops left in him. I would love for him to get beck to his old self, but as a raptor fan I still think he's ***.

What? This video just shows him working out. I'm sure every world class athlete does some form of this or not, other than Sean May and Big Baby.

Obviously you didn't watch the video, he had a 42" vertical.

Looking forward to a 20+ ppg season T-Mac.

If he can bounce back from microfracture knee surgery that would be crazy cause an injury like that is considered career threatening.

He jumped on something 42" high. Doesn't mean that's his vert.

i agree with you completely people forget that his career high is like 60,62 points? ive always been a t-mac fan but i just got way more respect for him his work ethic is incredible did you see the difference from the begining and the end hes JACKED UP!
i hope that keeps him healthy all year he can become an all star again!

No way he's a Top 5 player in the league again, those years are behind him. I have a hard time believing he will stay healthy for a whole season, let alone finish a season as a top 5 player.

Telios9
09-13-2009, 01:05 PM
i hope he is back on of my favorite players i think top ten player could happen if healthy top five would be really hard since he would have to compete with Kobe, Wade, Paul, Lebron, and Howard which is hard to compete with

He will never have his old form back again, but I still think for him to have a really solid season

I hope he has a great season, and with Yao out indefinitely, hopefully he, Ariza, Scola, Brooks, Battier etc. can prolly help the rockets sneak into the 7th or 8th seed. I wish T-Mac the best.

This is a joke right? Your basing his work ethic on a youtube video with bad music. Jordansbulls your one of my favorite posters but this a little over the top. I do hope your right though, because T-Mac is fun to watch when he is not torching your team for 30pts.

Paulliwali

Hope he plays for the whole season. Then no need to be top 5 or 10 just be a top 20 player and play for the whole season then I am happy

Hows that being a douchebag?

Maybe he was thinking logically. Who won that series?

Instead of calling him a D-Bag, he should be getting called a psychic.
He did call it.

So if Kobe was injured in that series instead do you think that he would call it. It's a ******** thing to say.

All T-mac needs to be is T-mac in 2007 where he averaged 25/5/6

T-mac was right on Par with Kobe when he was healthy. ( That one year they were battling for the scoring title with only like a .3 difference). Then Kobe just zoomed past T-mac and now he is fighting to regain his spotlight. I hope the very well for him. I'd still take a healthy T-Mac over most of the players today with the exception of Kobe and Wade.

Back injuries, shoulder injuries and microfracture and 2 yrs older, ya he'll be at top form!

Everybody else takes 2 yrs to get fully healed from microfracture (maybe less to heal but 2 yrs til get back to form). Tmac's best days are behind him anyway, if he did get those type of numbers that would be impressive but he wont.
