With the three headed monster in the east with the cavs magic and celtics, who is the going to pull off the last home court adv. spot in the east?

Detroit
Chicago
Toronto
Atlanta
Miami
Philadelphia
Washington
New Jersey

Long Shots:
Indiana
Milwaukee
New York
Charlotte

P.S. If someone could put up a poll that would be awesome..

i think detroit has the 3rd worst chance of that list for home court. i think its down to toronto and atlanta. i feel like washington and philly could EASILY be in that spot, but the chemistry the sixers have with brand on the floor just scares me.

Hawks. They are bringing everyone back and will be even a little better than last year.

Hawks, Raps, Wiz all equally sitting in that spot. It'll come down to injuries and chemistry.

ye yo, i agree exactly with that, its either raptors are atlanta, atlanta might have that spot before the season starts but no games are played, but they have the same roster from last year, adding crawford so they should be good, but if chemstirey is good with the roster with the raptors they can really be a suprise team. right now my bet is for toronto.

Atlanta, I think the race for 4th in the East could be the most interesting in the NBA this season.

Atlanta haha n Dont b surprised if we pull off a #3 if one of the 3 headed monster is plagued with injuries

4th = ATL

i really dont think Toronto is that good. They didn't make the playoffs last year and Hedo will not make a huge difference like some of you think. i think they get the 8th seed. i believe Atlanta will get the 4th seed and Miami the 5th seed.

That's exactly how I'd have it. I wouldn't feel bad about leaving anybody off that list either.

Well Hedo isnt the only change we made.. we have been the most active team this season, its not only hedo thats helping this team get better, we have a deep team and adressed some of the things we lacked, even though there are some things still that need to be adressed. How would miami get 5 th seed? Im a Dwade fan but miami has made no real changes to help there team get better, in a east that got way better over the offseason . Im saying Heat grab 7th maybe 6th. After the top 3 teams in the east the rest of the four spots up for grabs , Raps and Atl take 4 and 5 in any order IMO

Toronto got 12 new players, so yes that does make a big difference.

I say Atlanta.

But Bosh just gained 15 pounds of muscle so maybe the Raps have a chance.

well, what make Toronto so much better then last year?

First its ofc Hedo with his playmaking skils at the forward but what people not talking is that the have Marco Belinelli on the 2 spot who is realy good player and now also nba rdy.

He will give alot to Raps and make a big improvment and will beat Derozan in fight for starting posison

also i thin having Craford would make trouble in Atlanta... its hard to found enogh playing time for bought SG Johnson and Craford. I think Craford isn't in happy situasion even tought it will be his first chance to be in play/off action.

just perplexes me how Miami would end up being 5th? their team isn't deep by any stretch, Beasley is a crack head, JO is at the end of his career and should be a 6th man type of player now. Wade should be Wade.

and here's the big "IF". If refs stopped calling fouls in favor of Wade all the time, Miami wouldn't even make the playoffs.

IMO seedings for the 2010 playoffs will be as follows:
1. Boston
2. Orlando
3. Cleveland
4. Atlanta
5. Washington
6. Miami
7. Chicago
8. Detroit
(Toronto gets #9, they always manage to disapoint so this time they don't get the benefit of the doubt)

I think Toronto is gonna disappoint raptors fans this year, their expecting wayy too much. Hawks easily, Toronto might not even be top 6

What HUGE changes did Miami make since 2 seasons ago when they were the worst team in the league?
The Raps had a bad experimental season last year and they have done more this year in changes to the roster than anyone else in the league has.
What did Miami add this year? You lost Moon. That's about it.

If Gilbert Arenas comes back strong, then Washington will be fourth. If he doesn't, then Atlanta will be fourth.

the Heat were a 5th seed last year and that was with 2 rookies getting significant minutes. The Heat will be better but the Hawks will still get the 4th seed.

This sounds about right, but I would also consider the raptors depending on how turk works out there they added some solid players this off-season .
