Really? I hadn't noticed that it was slow. My team has had some tough injuries. we are just trying to wait them out and then plan on moving back up the standings.

Just an oversight. Same thing happened in my baseball league. I told yahoo to copy the settings from the previous year's league and when playoff time came around, we found no playoffs. It was disappointing and led to a huge mix-up. I assumed when I copied the settings I copied the same schedule including playoffs. Probably the same thing happened to LD right here.

No, it is fine. LD can set-up the playoffs still. What I would recommend is that if something is viewed as being a problem that someone send me a league email. Been really busy lately and haven't been checking in here. There is nothing to worry about. It is fixed and there is no need to get Yahoo involved...

Hey all,

Effective immediately I am stepping down as league commissioner and am here by appointing Bob_at_york as the new commissioner. Don't be confused though, I will play out the rest of the season with an aim to kick all your butts. Bob will be a great commish too by the way. :clap:

Its been fun guys but besides maybe occasionally posting in this specific thread until the season is over I am no longer posting here at PSD and so its only natural that I move away from the league. Keep in touch and all the best to everyone.

I think you got me. 7 extra games seem like a lot. Plus the benefit of playing less is that you will usually benefit in the fouls and turnover category's but I suck in those. 4-17 in turnovers :facepalm:

I recounted, its actually 12 more games then me. I know its just a game, but im extremely pissed that its gonna end this way.

To me, that sounds like a lot. I wish someone else could chime in and tell me if thats a normal thing or a rare case.

Yeah as long as my fg% and ft% dont take a big hit. I wish they showed how many attempt the team have taken. That way it would be pretty easy to see how big of a hit those category's would take with a bad performance.

I tied Wise in the semi's (very, very, very nearly beat him) and smashed Swoop in the Bronze worse than Mace beat him in the Semi's...

I was damn close to running the gamut in this league...but close doesn't do it.

I suppose I've seen more of a "smashing" (eg. Wise 1 over Mace 9-1 early in the season)...but I did beat you worse than Mace was my point.

Yeah Bob is a good choice also.

I have a link to a torrent for the 2010 game. 2011 just came out. Its a pretty fun game if your into that kind of stuff. It gets a little boring/easy when its just you and the A.I. I joined a league back in 2008 or so and it was pretty fun. You cant just sign the best players or trade for the best players when you play with other humans.
