You know the same hall talented players like Marbury, Steve Francis, Shawn Kemp, Antoine Walker have passed.

Beasley. I think he's talented player but mentally the guy does'nt have it. He'll probably be productive for 6-7 yrs and then go downhill once he signs that huge contract.

OJ Mayo, another talented player, but he seems to be one dimensional. I think he'll be hot for a few years and will be another obscure NBA All star.

Beasley isn't even a star yet.....nor Mayo.

Although I disagree on Mayo, the dude will be a perennial all-star for years to come.

As far as this thread goes, I would say Josh Smith if he doesn't develop a nice J.

for those voting for lebron, come on now. the guy is not going the same path as marbury and steve francis.

another player would be andrew bynum.

bynum does have the skill and the potential but eversince getting a hefty amount of a salary, he had ben non existent.

It's only cause he's been hurt though. Not like he chose to be non existent

I wouldn't call OJ Mayo one demensional. I'm not sold on him as a star yet but he is a creative offensive player and good competitive defender. I don't think any of the older guys you listed were locked in defenders (kemp's althetism and activeness made him a presence but....)

I would say Thabeet despite the fact we haven't seen him in the NBA, his summer league play was disappointing and I don't think he will transfer over well.

JOsh Smith is defiantely living on athletism. He's a talent but seems to have a pretty hard head and is an injury away from not having much special at all
