Thank you! I forgot that he was only 6'10." I can never thank you enough for giving me the knowledge to drop Matt Bonner off of a top-5 list.

well i guess, but he's not a true center really. but i mean i dont think he's top 5 still even though he is pretty good on a bad team.

None of these guys are true centers, except for Al Jefferson. I would even move Jefferson to power forward if I had a good center.

Woah babe don't get your panties wet. True none of the guys listed are true centers, but all have serious low-post game, something Lee lacks. Personally, I think Lee is an unathletic Dwight Howard, who just scores garbage points, gets rebounds no one cares to contest and can't play defense as well. But with that being said most of the centers nowadays are lacking certain major qualities.

This is my Top 10 list for anyone under 6'11" who played significant minutes as a center:
1. Al Jefferson
2. Amare Stoudamire
3. Emeka Okafor
4. Al Horford
5. Kendrick Perkins
6. Joakim Noah
7. Rasheed Wallace
8. Antonio McDyess
9. David Lee
10. Anderson Varejao

David Lee doesn't belong on this list anymore. Sure he played heavy minutes at center last year, but this year we have Jordan Hill, Eddy Curry, and Darko Milicic to take minutes at center. If Lee resigns, he will play mostly as a PF, and if he goes anywhere else he will also be a PF.

Perkins? i think hes listed at 6'11, but hes definitly not that tall. When he stands next to KG hes much shorter.

He deserves to be on this list IMO, especially since hes a true center

Al Jefferson is the top under 6'11" center, easily. Amare did not play C last season. Al did, as well as the previous season, and he will for the upcoming season.

Brand played as a power forward in Los Angeles, and he continues to play as a power forward in Philadelphia.

Dwight Howard (Nuff said)
Al Jefferson (He plays C all the time with the T-Wolves)
Okafor (He'd be the same at PF and C)
Al Horford (He would probally be better at PF but he's forced to play C)
David Lee (He's really a PF a heart but he was fine at center last year)

Dlee is not really a center. He was our center at times last season by default. So was Jared Jeffries. Dlee is a PF and even at PF sometimes there are guys taller and stronger than him. Come to think of it we have tried Dlee at SF in the past as well but that doesnt make him a SF. :)
