RDS.ca is reporting that Jocelyn Thibault will be joining the Avalanche as goaltending coach (google translated page), working with the goalies 2 weeks a month. Thibault, of course, is a former Nordique and Avalanche (drafted in the first round by Quebec in 1993. It says here he was traded away in 1995 for some Patrick Roy fella.

Thibault replaces Jeff Hackett, who was let go this summer as part of the massive coaching cleansing. Curiously, Thibault was once traded by Montreal to Chicago for...Jeff Hackett.http://www.milehighhockey.com/2009/9/1/1010387/jocelyn-thibault-reportedly-hired

Could be a good move. I liked Hackett, but nobody had produced for him since Theodore's nice run.
