Infielder Joe Inglett and right handers Brian Wolfe and Dirk Hayhurst have been recalled by the Blue Jays and added to their expanded roster.

All three were promoted from Triple-A Las Vegas, in the Pacific Coast League.

Inglett, at 31 a veteran of four partial Major League seasons, batted .360 in 40 games in Las Vegas.

Wolfe had a 5.05 ERA in 34 games, all in relief. He made seven earlier appearances for the Blue Jays, going 1-1.

Hayhurst was 4-6 in 25 games for the 51s, six of them starts, with an ERA of 3.75. He was impressive in an earlier stint in Toronto this season, making 12 relief appearances while posting a 1.72 ERA.

Not bad, never hurts to have more relief especially with our pitchers as of late.

Do the Blue Jays have any left handed power bats down in the minors?

Accardo has every right to be upset. He has been a much better pitcher then the majority of our bullpen, but he rots in aaa. He was a legit closer 2 years ago and he's a better option then league roenicke and maybe frasor as well. Riccardi got a steal when they traded hillenbrand for this guy and now there wasting that for hayhurst and Wolfe? That's pathetic. But he'll probably be elsewhere next year, Possibly closing. So much frustration with this team. Where jpa? Whose our catcher next year? Barajas is driving up his salary not a long term solution anyway. Whose DH? Ruiz? Hope not. Wheres Dopirak why can't they atleast see if he's ready? So kevin millar and joe inglett can get more at bats? This team is a joke for what reason should I watch this team the last month. There's no light at the end of the tunnel but atleast they dumped that loser rios

I hope they call up Coats, Dopirak, Beam, Purcey,Accardo... they could use all of those guys as the season winds down. We need to see what these guys have as they all will playing for spots next year. plus the bullpen needs some fresh faces..(Hayhurst, Beam, Wolfe, Accardo etc...) 2010 is going to be interesting...
