Does Tracy Mcgrady care more about winning, salary or being the man

Last year he had a great opportunity to lead the Rockets and decided to get surgery and was not in shape for the season.

This offseason it appears with Yao out that all of a sudden he is practicing more to get in shape to prove people wrong.

Is he doing this because he cares more about "winning", or is it because it is a "contract year" or is it that he knows he will be "the Man on the team"?

We can't answer that, you would have to ask Tracy.

I have no idea what his motivations are. But I don't think he is a bad person, a selfish player, or a guy who puts himself above the rest of the team. He gets a terrible reputation for some reason. He's had bad injury problems...injuries can ruin anyone's self-esteem or motivation.

I voted for winning...because I really think at this point in his career, he wants to prove the world wrong.

None of the above, he only cares for baseball

Many Rockets fans disagree with you on this one.

He has enough money to be more than set for life, he want's to win now. If he is healthy he will be the man anyways.

When his contract is up he will be leaving Houston for a place where he can be the second or third even fourth option. He wants to win a championship and he is beginning to realize that his body cant take the beating that it did back in the day.

At this point of his career he kind of has no choice but to play to win. I still think the talent is there but how far will his body let him go. He seems to always get slowed down by injury.

He wants to win. Rockets fans are disgusting haters of T-Mac and ridicule everything he does.

He doesn't necessarily want to win, but to get out of the first round. He probably hates how he has been deemed "the first round virgin" and would like to advance past the first round. But he probably holds money in the highest regard, as he hasn't worked this hard to get healthy in years.

i think that he has an unfair rapsheet just because of the fact that he is very injury prone... But i think that earlier in his career he wanted to be the man and get the big contract... but i feel that now with him getting older he is more concerned about winning the thing is that he has not had the team around him to get really far and when he did have a team that could make some noise they were too banged up
