I just can't see Phoenix making the Playoffs....They did not make the playoffs with Shaq last year..

All they really have is Nash and Amare...(doubt if Amare can stay healthy...)

J RICH is overated and ageing....nash is ageing and getting worse every year....

Here is the rest of thge Lineup:

Louis Amundson
Leandro Barbosa
Goran Dragic
Jared Dudley
Taylor Griffin
Alexander Pavlovic
Alando Tucker
Robin Lopez
Channing Frye
Earl Clark
Grant Hill (old)

how is this team a playoff team? Over young teams like Thunder, Clippers?

Listen i know it looks like the suns got worse, and talent wise they did, but for their system they got better. Nash isnt getting worse each year, next year he will put up almost his MVP numbers again. Amare will stay healthy and be better offensively then ever, Barbosa will be very good again and as J rich as our 2nd option he will be back to his older status. Our young role players are developing nicely, this year, they will have a larger role and they will continue to grow. The suns have a chance to finish 6th - 9th in the West, it all depends if we beat the teams we are suppost to beat.

The thunder will not make the playoffs this year, because of their youth and inexperience, give them a year or two they will make it, but not this year.

All of that is being assumed....
Nash is going into his 13th season (he is 35 years old) and i am sorry to break it to you, but he is on the decline....
The numbers show it....

2006-2007: 18.6ppg 11.6ast
2007-2008: 16.9ppg 11.1ast
2008-2009: 15.7ppg 9.7ast (with the addition of Shaq to get easy assists)
2009-2010 (prediction): 14ppg 8 ast

*Call me crazy but I can see Nash and Russell Westbrook posting similar numbers this year (with nash having 1-1.5 more ast and Russ having 3-4 more ppg)

AMARE is always injured...he has had one healthy season in his 7 year career....AND EVEN WHEN HEALTHY LAST YEAR HIS NUMBERS WERE DOWN

2007-2008: 34minutes, 25.2ppg, 9.1rpg, 59%FG
2008-2009 (more minutes): 37 minutes, 21.4ppg, 8.1rpg, 53%FG

J RICH is a role player...he can give you 15 points a night...but thats about it...

I DO NOT THINK THE SUNS WILL HAVE A .500 RECORD THIS YEAR...

how is this team a playoff team? Over young teams like Thunder, Clippers?First of all Jason Richardson is only 28

secondly this is a pretty good team when healthy.

Nash
Richardson
Hill
Amare
Lopez

6th man Barbosa

This team was 2 games away from being the 8th seed last year WITHOUT Amare and Shaq clogging the lane. With a healthy team they can easily be a 7th or 8th seed.

Last year amare and nashs numbers went down because of Porters system. Once he was fired amares numbers (for the 2 games under gentry were): 30 and 10. Nash was averaging 19 and 9 and shooting 52 % from the field when porter was fired. And they went 5 games above 500 without their best player.
J rich will be averaging atleest 18 a game, last year he was the 3rd option and put up 17 a game, there is no way he will put up 15. Suns will get atleest 46 wins this year.

couldn't agree more

every player on the warriors except for maggette and jackson are young quickly improving players...

last year they had a series of unfortunate injuries starting with monta moped accident...

i think they will edge out the 8th seed over the suns...

the clips are not going to win 20 more games solely on the addition of an unproven rookie. its not like a 36 year old camby is suddenly going to re-enter his prime and put up huge defensive numbers. he'll more than likely be injured (once again). kaman is out of shape, and he does not fit in strategically with players like bdiddy whom relies on centers who can run the court and do little things without needing the ball (as kaman does). this team has no cohesion whatsoever and their coach will not solve the problems...dunleavy will likely make them worse, because he seems so stubborn. i think the clips will put together some winning streaks, but just the same they will put together losing streaks ending up with around 38 wins...

the thunder are a team on the rise but they will end up with a similar record to the clippers. they have some great players but they have zero good big men

the suns are getting old and i think will put together around 45 wins or so....

and you think the Warriors will put up what, 50 wins? Or somewhere between 45 and 50? Really?

No matter how young they are, they are still gonna be an AWFUL defensive team with a glut of swingmen and no real post scorer.

went with the suns, i think the suns will be battling for the 6ht seed and could sneak it but thats my thoughts

i hate all this love foe the thunder, yes they have a very young and exciting team...but they are young!! they won 23 games last year and have added another exciting young ROOKIE in harden, who will take time to learn the nba. people need to be realistic here, i think if they got over .500 then that would be a huge success! a ten game win increase is what they should realistically be aiming for imo!

i like the clips team, there is a boat load of talent there and the reason they were so bad last year was because b-diddy and mike d didn't quite see eye to eye and they had some major injuries. though if those things are sorted this year they should be in with a fighting chance, i think they should be getting over .500

Contract year for Amare...I expect very big things out of him. If he wants 20 million a year he better prove it this season. I think the Suns will make a nice run this year.
