If Knick's can keep Lee at 7 million per year we won't let him go, also Ramon is a RFA so we can just offer a high amount of the MLE and Milwaukee won't match.

Lee wants 10-12 million annually so that's why he hasn't been signed or traded, as for Ramon we are trying to get him for the cheapest price that Milwaukee won't match.
Why trade Lee to Milwaukee if he accepts a 7 million pre year contract?

David Lee's agent has made it clear the Knicks will not entertain a sign and trade offer.
The Knicks have rejected several S&T's he has negotiated.

It's all basically been said. Lee is looking for 10-12 (not happening) and NYK wants Lee but at a reasonable price. $7 million is a bargain (I think they would offer as much as $8 mill per). They want Sessions but not enough to rip apart their 2010 plan (the mid-level could keep them from even offering 1 max contract). Sessions is good and has potential but I'm personally not willing to give him more than $4 mill per.
