Magic and Bird saved the NBA.
How could anyone have anything negative to say?
Magic was fun to watch, even if a fan didn't like the Lakers.
Happy Birthday, Earvin.

Happy Birthday Magic! In 1992, when he announced that he had HIV, a lot of people did not think he could make it this long. That was a very sad day, but I am very happy for him and his family that he has been able to get through that and is still going strong being an analyst for the NBA. Of course, he was at his best running the Showtime break alongside Worthy, Scott, and Kareem in the 80's while winning championships as the conductor of that all-time great offensive attack.

Happy birthday Earvin. He always had the greatest attitude, and I loved the way he approached life, with the biggest smile possible. Oh, and his ridic passing ability and competitiveness was alright too!

"You can live through anything if Magic made it"- Kanye West

The best PG of all time, top 5 of all time, just too bad he was a Laker. Give props where props are due.

Apparently he had a special room in the forum near the locker room which had a jacuzzi in it and was always populated with some of the finest LA women. He would go in there before and after post-game interviews. No wonder he had that smile on his face all the time! :laugh2:

F Magic! I met him once at a Heat vs Lakers game during halftime at the bar and I was wearing his throwback jersey, literally the only person in the arena wearing his jersey and I asked him to sign my jersey and that fat donut blew me off.

after he announced he was HIV positive almost two decades ago, I never expected he'd make it to 50.

Would you sign every autograph requested to you your whole life? It gets tiring. Sure, you may say it only takes a minute, but the mental draining from it all makes it hard to agree. He could have signed 50 autographs that day, but the minute he turns down the 51st request, that person will think he's an a-hole.

I understand, but this was a Lakers vs Heat game, all the laker fans at the game we're all wearing #24 Kobe jerseys, (note: this was not at STAPLES, it was at the american airlines arena), I was the only one wearing #32 Magic Jersey, so its like damn here is this fan at a Lakers vs Heat game not wearing a Kobe Bryant jersey but my jersey. He could of scribble scrabbled his john hancock on my jersey and I can go on with my life.
