I dont think there are five guys better than him in the draft. -Nate Robinson

What do you all think of this comment, considering Terrance was drafted 11th.

Just because your drafted #11 doesnt mean your the 11th best player, teams draft out of need usually and he could end up being the best player in the draft or a bust you wont know til down the road but there's no reason that he couldnt end up being one of the best in the draft.

Kobe Bryant was drafted 13th and if any of the top 12 teams could go back thy'd do it in a heartbeat. I can tell you first hand that I still cringe at the thought of the Blazers passing on Jordan and I wouldnt doubt it if George Shinn was worried about getting whacked in Charlotte because he traded Bryant for Divac so he decided to move the team to NO (just joking).

All you can do is wait and see.

Robinson probably has never seen at least half of the guys from the top 10 play basketball.

He just keeps embarrassing himself :pity: He knows him from seattle.

Twill has the skill set and size to be a nice 2 way player, which can give him alot of minutes, especially on this young nets team.
He's going to be better than some people above him, he could be an all star in about 4-5 years.

Terrence Williams is a very solid player and he has the potential to be a top five prospect.

I think T-Will will be a good player. We'll see if he pans out as a top 5 player :)

I would say this is why Nate Robinson is a player and not a GM... but with that being said I do think that T-Will will raise some eyebrows this year

I was happy with the pick because he is versatile at the 1,2, or 3 position, and other than PG, the Nets have some questions to be answered at SG and SF. I don't know if he shouldve been top 5 but he was definitely a great pick at 11 and could bring 25 minutes off the bench because of that versatility.

he has a lot of potential

but from what ive seen from his days in college and in the summer league games is that he has A LOT of work to do.

he is a great rebounder for his size, superb athleticism, and good d.

but his ball handling, shot, and offensive awareness all need a ton of work. he comes up with big plays but he is often reckless when going to the hoop because he doesnt have any go to moves and kind of just flies towards the basket without knowing what he wants to do with the ball. he needs to know his own limits and this will come in time.

he will never be the next kobe, or even durant if thats what you want. he just doesnt have that scoring ability/instinct in him. but he could be the next great defensive stopper and IMO thats not half bad given u already have devin harris to compliment him.

heres wat it means

1 if ur a top 5 player in the draft u rly shudnt fall to the 11th pick.
2 Nate said tht before he ever playing a game (hes saying right now hes top 5)
3 Kobe was drafted 13 because no one during the draft thought hed be that amazing.

1.) It happens all the time, just look at last year's draft w/ Brook Lopez and Anthony randolph

3.) Kobe fell because he was considered a diva who wanted to pick where he played, not too many scouts where doubting the potential (similar to why other players fall in every type of sports draft)

I wanted the Bobcats to draft T-Will but there is a reason why he didn't go top ten. At this point he has a lot of potential but he needs to have someone coach him up. It would have been the perfect situation in Cha w/ Larry Brown. Hopefully there's somebody in NJ who can get the job done.

I could see him being similar to Iguodala

Sean Williams and Marcus Williams had potential too...gotta prove it with your play before you buy into hype.

I could see him being similar to Iguodala

quite a few people have called him a poor man's andre iguodala. he has 15 5 5 potential with defensive capabilities greater than offensive ones.

thats not it at all lol...the only team he said he would play for is the lakers..teams were scared to pick him because he might refuse to play..Charlotte decided to pick him and trade him to get some value in return.

those guys didnt have their heads on straight? marcus williams barely took care of himself before the draft. his work ethic and character were major issues. sean williams cares a lot about his family and money. that's about it. he doesnt care about the game or developing. he wasn't very coachable. still isnt.

twill has quite an ego ill give you that. but he was the heart and soul of the cards. he led by example. he stayed all four years and let coach P change his shot after his junior year. i call that coachable. he always improved his game after each year in college. he takes good care of himself.
he does care quite a bit about money and endorsements though. http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/teams/njn/photos/im:urn:newsml:sports.yahoo,getty:20050301:nba,phot o,1db8898395dcf1f6606eeb966e210651-getty-89643103nb083_rookie_shoot:1

he has potential. you can see that before he ever walks onto an nba court or plays a scrimmage in summer league.
frankly im tired of hearing stuff about the other draftees. this is different. we at least get a look at another prospect.
next up the steal of the draft...brown.

Nate Robinson is an idiot, and highly overrated. He needs to go to a more midget friendly league, like in Europe.

Many posters here have better opinions than Nate

He'll either be a poor mans Iggy, or the next Reece Gaines

I wanted him next to Rose, Runing the floor with Rose, His above average passing, His athletism, Defense and his hopefully developing 3pt shot, He was perfect.

He will be a good player.
