The Boston Celtics are bringing back Glen "Big Baby" Davis.

The Celtics announced Monday that they've re-signed the power forward to a new deal. It's reportedly for two years.

Davis, a two-year pro out of Louisiana State, was a restricted free agent.

After averaging seven points per game during the regular season, the 6-foot-9, 289-pound forward emerged in the playoffs, improving to 15.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

I think this move puts Boston ahead of Orlando. Losing Powe doesn't hurt as much since you have Sheed off the bench, but Davis is a big part of that team.

relly big deal actually. baby and sheed off the bench is nearly a starting caliber frontcourt. the depth is solid this year.

the return of big baby makes boston look really great in my eyes...
I really cant choose who seems to be the better team between them and the lakers now

theres a lot of questions that need to be answered through the first few months of the season thatll give us all a better idea of who's the better team

CELTICS
is sheed still gonna be as good as they hope.. or is he more of an average player at this point in his career?

will KG be the same player after his knee injury and surgery?

will the big 3 still be great seeing as theyre all a year older?

is this the year rondo becomes GREAT?

are they gonna miss having powe?

is their bench deep enough?

LAKERS
can artest mesh well in LA as a starter? (more important to LA than sheed is to boston so sheed is less of a risk)

Is this the season Bynum becomes GREAT?

will they be better without ariza and with artest?

will fisher still be enough as the starting pg?

is sasha gonna be the sasha of 08 or of 09?

how much better/worse will the be with artest?
