Ginobli, Odom, or Terry are possibilities that first come to mind.

Odom, Terry, Krik, BG if he's not starting. I'm not saying he will win it but I can see Rudy Fernandez being in the conversation as well.

IF NOT STARTING:
Eric Gordon/JR Smith

JR Smith would win it easily as I expect him to get more minutes and improve but since I hope he starts I will go ahead and say Ben Gordon.

For those who are voting Manu/Odom/Terry just take into account they added Shawn Marion, Ron Artest, and Richard Jefferson. Which means they won't be able to score as much, and thats why I took them out for Ben Gordon who I expect to HAVE to get minutes while the Pistons rebuild.

Maggette if he embraces the bench role again this season, like he did for us about halfway through last season. Oh and also stays healthy hehe.

GodsSon

has it been stated that BG is coming off the bench in favour of Rip?

Superstar21
08-07-2009, 07:54 PM
Lamar Odom, he's very productive coming off the bench and even i was surprised he didnt win it this year

(coming from a blazers fan)

Derek Fisher
Kobe Bryant
Ron Artest
Pau Gasol
Andrew Bynum

Bench:
Lamar Odom

My pick is Randy Foye (if not starting) but other options include: Odom (if the effort is put in), Ginobli (if healthy), Pietrus (if Barnes doesn't take too much of his role away), JR Smith (if consistant), Terry (if not outshined by earlier players mentioned) or Hamilton/Gordon (whichever plays off the bench [most likely Gordon])

It's too bad AI isn't willing to come off the bench, he could've won Sixth Man and Most Improved in the same season lol, probably not, but still don't want him leaving the NBA benches to start in Europe

If J.R.'s coming off the bench he should surely be in the running.

He definitely looked more the "best 6th man" than Terry did in the Nuggets-Mavs series.

i have a feeling Manu wont be a 19ppg scorer with Jefferson their. Plus due to his age, i can c Manu avging abt 15.5ppg

Either Jason Terry or Ben Gordon IMO.

Oh so you think Gordon is gonna score more with Hamilton, Prince, Villanueva, and Stuckey?

If the Suns can surprise and have a decent season and get back in the playoffs then Barbosa would have a shot if he gets the mins.

Odom deserves it, oh that is funny

Psst let me tell you a little secret: THE SEASON HASNT EVEN STARTED!

I would assume Odom will have a good shot at it but I think he has to put the work in first.

Oh so you think Gordon is gonna score more with Hamilton, Prince, Villanueva, and Stuckey?

Hamilton and Prince are declining, Villanueva is nice so maybe, and Stuckey shouldn't take away much from him. Honestly Ben Gordon should get a ton of minutes while they rebuild; and since points are nearly all that matter *looks at last five 6th Man Award winners* he should get it done. To compare Prince/Villa/Hamilton/Stuckey to say Artest/Gasol/Bynum/Odom, Duncan/RJ/Parker or anyone else is a joke; he should have a great chance at it.

Jet Terry. He will likely score more than all the other canidates, except Gordon. And play on team that will be a top 4 team in the West. Ginobli and Smith are right there with him

Junior Smith... jk JR Smith

DCSportsIsPain
08-08-2009, 08:14 AM
My pick is Randy Foye (if not starting)

Randy Foye out in Washington.

I'd like to agree but there is a real possibility Randy Foye won't be a 6th Man for the entire season. Agent Zero's knees are a concern, regardless of what is being reported. I hope Foye is a sixth man all season, but ...

Odom if health, Manu if he doesn't start, and my dark horse Jarrett Jack. He will be asked to run the Raps second unit and looks like he is the scorer too.
