Scott Rolen is right behind Carlos Delgado, Joe Carter, Roberto Alomar and Roy Halladay on my list.

I liked him, but he wasn't here enough to make him one of my top 10 Jays.

why are we gonna miss this guy. He had like 3 good months in the city and was trash before that. He was hitting 8th in my ideal lineup at the beginning of the season. He isnt in my top 50 Jays of all time.

Jeff Frye is definitely for one ahead of him.

I added an option because you missed an option. I didnt hate Rolen but he definitely isnt anywhere near the top of my lists. You have to remember guys like Pat Borders, Juan Guzman, Ed Sprague, Orlando Hudson, Johnny Mac, and other fan favs before you get a guy who wasnt really even that good as a Jay and wasnt here very long.

He *might* make my top 3 third basemen. Definitely behind Rance and Kelly...but probably ahead of E5 and T-Bats.

I would consider him to be in my top 10

Most of my fave Jays were from the '05 campaign. I guess I could try to fit a spot in for Rolen.

Rolen probably ranks 8th or 9th in my all time fav Jays list. As it stands now, this is what mine looks like:

1. Roy Halladay
2. Dave Stieb
3. Tom Henke
4. Roberto Alomar
5. Joe Carter
6. Aaron Hill
7. Carlos Delgado
8. Tony Fernandez
9. Scott Rolen
10. Darrin Fletcher

I loved Rolen's defence, which is by far the best defence the Jays have ever had at 3rd Base. He may have had a rough 1st year but the one constant thing that he had from Day 1 was Gold Glove defence.

I have only been watching the Jays since 2002 and there is no way he is on any list. I didnt really like the guy in the first place then Like McJoe said, he only had 4 good months with the team

Not in my top 25. Had he been here longer, that might have been different.

I have a question. If Rolen had been hitting .260 like he did last season would he still be on all your lists?

This seems like a lot of people for a guy who only played 203 games in a Jays uniform over a season and a half.

Rolen played 1 and half seasons for the Jays, and was only good for half that time. Bizarre player to be in anyones top 30.

id put him maybe top 15 but not worse, i always liked him when he was in the NL , was excited when he was coming here, his defence was stellar, always runs out ground balls, pop outs, works hard, a true baseball guy, the good avg this yr and the fact that he didnt crumble when the team did made him even more a fav for me, short lived yes but many of the jays after the ws only spent a couple seasons here as we changed rosters sooo many times

In my opinion, he wasn't here nearly long enough to make the cut. He was good this year in some ways, but that's about it.

The only way Rolen should be in your top 10 is if you just started following the team this season. He wasn't good at all last year.

I dont think anyone here has Wells or Rios in there top 15 Jays. If this question was asked 2 years ago im sure those players would have been top 5 or 10 for most people....

what im trying to say from this is that people dont really have all time favs. If the player starts stinking it up or not playing to expectations he would automaticallly drop

i think he carried over alot of respect from his days in st.louis and thats why he is making peoples top ten. I dont think i can put a guy in my top ten or in my top 20 who only played 200 games. I love they guys who have brought alot and put in alot of time for the team. Granted i still love rolen as a player, so i will have to put him in my top 25.

He played great defense but up until this year did very little offensively with the Jays. Couple that with his brief tenure, he doesn't make my top 10, 20 or 25 list of all-time Jays.

Here's my top 5:
1. Roy Halladay
2. Dave Stieb
3. Roberto Alomar
4. Joe Carter
5. Pat Hentgen
