Portland and Golden State ( Randolph, Ellis, Curry, Azibuke)have to be added to this list and maybe even New Jersey (Harris, Lee, Lopez, Yi)

Where's Golden State? I'd say they're number one on this list and they're not even listed. Don't over shadow this team.

Monte Ellis (23), Stephen Curry (21) Anthony Randolph (20), Andris Biedrins (23), Anthony Morrow (23), Brandon Wright (21), Acie Law (24), Kelenna Azubuike (25)

And THEN..

Memphis - OJ Mayo, Rudy Gay, Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, Hasheem Thabeet
Thunder - Kevin Durant, Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook, James Harden
Clippers - Blake Griffin, Eric Gordon, Al Thornton, DeAndre Jordan
Timberwolves - Al Jefferson, Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio (?), Jonny Flynn

in that exact order

Then I'd go with the Bulls - Derick Rose, Jakim Noah, Tyrus Thomas, and Luol Deng (24)

people need to realize that these cores will be broken up in a couple of years due to financial reasons

Anyone who didn't pick OKC is just plain dumb, they will make the playoffs this season

Roy
Rudy
Bayless
Batum
Outlaw
Aldridge
Oden.

Bayless and Batum are nothing yet, Outlaw is almost 26 and wouldn't be considered young compared to all the other players listed. Oden is on the verge of being a bust.

Outlaw is only 24.
Bayless, Batum and Oden have potential.

Where are Golden State, Chicago, and Sacramento?

The Warriors have Ellis, Randolph, Wright, Biedrins, Curry, and Azubuike. The Kings have Hawes, Thompson, Greene, Martin, Evans, and Casspi. The Bulls have Rose, Noah, Thomas, Deng, and Johnson.

Where does potential of Bayless, Batum, and Oden stack up against the likes of Durant, Green, Westbrook, and possibly Harden?

Or against Mayo, Gay, Gasol, Thabeet, and Conley?

Yes Oden has just as much potential as any young player but as of now he's nothing special.

The core of Roy (25) Aldridge and Outlaw and possibly Oden are not as potentially good as some of the players I just named

Durant is pretty much at the same level as Roy, maybe one step behind because Roy is a few years older but Durants potential at this point is much more than Roys. Aldridge is a little better than Green but they both have about the same amount of potential, Westbrook has a bunch of potential, and then you have Harden. Same can be said about Gay, Mayo, Gasol, Conley, Thabeet, etc and all other young teams.

Kings probably have the worst young core.

CHI and OKC at the top of the list for having Rose and Durant respectively. Quality over Quantity.

How the hell did the Sixers not make this list.

Not saying they would win this poll but could be up there.

Jrue Holliday
Lou Williams
Marreese Speights
Andre Iguodala
Thaddeus Young
Jason Smith

Show Philly some love I think this is a very good young core.
