View Full Version : PG Sleeper?

08-04-2009, 06:22 PM
Who do you guys think is a great sleeper pick at point guard this year?

08-04-2009, 06:23 PM
Felton /homer

08-04-2009, 06:25 PM
Homer Pick: Rodney Stuckey

non-Homer Pick: Ramon Sessions

08-04-2009, 06:29 PM
Not even being a homer but if Sessions came to the knicks he would be looked at as a sleeper. Not sayin it would equal wins but he would put up some numbers.

08-04-2009, 06:36 PM
If Ramon Sessions goes to Knicks he would increase there wins and put up all-star numbers. I think he is very very underrated and I really hope the Knicks do not get him. Hopefully they sign Iverson. :)

I am a Jazz fan(2010 1st round pick from Knicks). lol

Barea & Westbrook

08-04-2009, 10:19 PM
Lou Williams. Hell be Sixers Starting PG. HE can light it up....... i bet at least 16ppg this year miniumum.

08-04-2009, 10:21 PM
Conley, Bayless, Felton...Brandon jennings!!!

08-04-2009, 10:23 PM
Ramon Sessions is not a sleeper, considering he's been generating buzz for about 2 seasons now.
We all KNOW that wherever he goes he's going to average at least 9apg.

Sleepers Include:
Eric Maynor
Johnny Flynn.
Mario Chalmers.
Ty Lawson.
Tyreke Evans.
Drue Holiday

08-04-2009, 10:24 PM
I think Maynor will be good in a few years...I don't see Collison going anywhere...

08-04-2009, 10:29 PM
Allen Iverson is being SLEPT on this offseason.

08-04-2009, 10:31 PM

08-04-2009, 10:35 PM

08-04-2009, 10:40 PM
Felton/Augustine (if they're separated)
Westbrook (close to Rose, but doesn't get anywhere near the hype)

08-04-2009, 10:41 PM
I dont consider Sessions a sleeper after the numbers he put up last year. I remember for something like a 2-3 week period he put up crazy numbers

08-04-2009, 10:42 PM
Gabe Pruitt

08-04-2009, 10:54 PM
AARON BROOKS, Ramon sessions and raymond felton

I think (and hope, of course) that by the middle or end of the season it will be generally recognized that the Nuggets got the steal of the first round by trading a heavily protected future first for Lawson (the 18th pick). The table is perfectly set for him to thrive in Denver. With Billups there, the pressure to do too much too soon will be taken off his shoulders, and he'll have one of the best player-coaches in the league as his personal mentor. He'll have an arsenal of great (/good) scorers that will make playmaking easy for him, and at the same time his ability to hit the 3 will help space the floor to make life that much easier. And with Chauncey's paced, controlled point guard play giving way to Ty's lightning quick speed pushing the pace, I anticipate him being the most effective change of pace pg in the league. My main area of concern is his defense (given his size), but it's likely that the Nuggets will re-sign Anthony Carter to play 3rd stringer, which should also help to take the pressure off if he gets into any tough spots where he's struggling defensively. The Nuggets have pretty much been labeled as a "haven't done anything this summer" team as people have evaluated all the high profile trades and FA signings, but I think it's likely to end up being the case that the positive impact Lawson could have has been underestimated.

Sessions, Flynn, Westbrooke, Jennings and ALLEN IVERSON!!

Thanks. Yeah, butts are pretty much wonderful.

Ramon Sessions and Mike Conley both have good chances of career seasons.
I think Aaron Brooks will have the best breakout season though, he'll have to carry Houston for a big part of the season, along with Ariza and Scola, and I can see him putting up numbers.

08-05-2009, 12:55 PM
Flynn, Sessions, Will Bynum

08-05-2009, 01:08 PM
Felton? Barea? Jack?
