During the regular season best point guard no question is Chris Paul. While it's true he doesn't have much help, get got killed this post season. For me that most underrated playoff point guards are either Tony Parker or Chauncey Billups. Both are really under rated, but really help their teams out in the playoffs and both have won championships and know what it takes. Tony Parker during the post season is like a different player and no one can stop him. Chauncey is a great leader, and changes the whole aspect of the team, look at Denver and how crappy Detroit was after he left. My pick is Chauncey because he seems to bring defensive toughness and changes the aspect of a team like few can, but Tony Parker is a beast in playoffs. What do you guys think?

I dont think guys like them who have 4 rings combined between them, and 2 finals MVP's are underrated.

Rondo was under appreciated for his work in the playoffs. I guess him
People now think Chauncey is the best PG.

whats funny about that...
the question is underrated a.k.a people who not many people talk about...
you gotta learn to respect peoples opinions...
I disagree wit Alston...but i am not gonna put you down for it....
whats more funny is that you say "lmao!"
There are only two types of people I have heard say that....
1. 13 year old girls
2. people who are on the computer way too often

Deron Williams is my pick for most underrated point guard in the Playoffs! The first time he was in the player's Derek Fisher was the starter and Deron Williams was the rookie starter off the bench he had some glimpses of being a star but that didn't happen until the next year when he got the starting job because Fisher went to LA for his daughter because she had on a cancer! It's unfortunate the past two times Deron Williams has been in the playoffs they have had to play the Los Angeles Lakers and I've gotten beaten up I think when he plays a mediocre playoff team we will see why he should not be underrated anymore! I think the Utah Jazz if they keep Carlos boozer they are a top 4 caliber team in the Western Conference! If they can get home-court advantage at all in the playoffs in 2010 they are going to be a force to reckon with and a dark horse pick to make it to the NBA finals if they play good defense like they have been in the past two years!

Well as a matter of fact a 13 year old girl who's on the computer way too often would know laugh at the fact that you put the player who ruined all hopes of beating the Lakers and a player who's been to the twice and played 11 games. So I LOL at a person who posts on a sports forum and talks about another person being on the internet too often.

How are two all stars considered underrated? How are two players that helped their teams with championships more than once, won MVP awards, underrated? Are you guys on crack or what?

Underrated players are no big names but do big things for their teams to lead them to championships.

They don't have the stats or starpower to be recognized, they are the ones that do all the other things to win.

Dumb thread!

I dont think either Chauncey or Tony are underrated. Billups is like one of the most appreciated pg's in the league 2day after the trade happened. And anyone who wins the Finals MVP, is not underrated. I dont really know whos the underrated PLAYOFF PG, but based on last year, i'd have to go with Rondo. Avged a triple-double, and even w/o KG, he held the team 2gether, and still forced the Eastern Champs to 7 games. I noe it wasnt Rondo by himself, but he did have a big part to do with it.

Fisher who has 4 rings, should be the call here. I can`t say Rose just yet after 1 year.

Question is weird. ... How can Guards that start in the playoffs be underrated ? By who ? Maybe, Guards coming off the bench can be underrated by someone ... but come on. Tony Parker and Chauncey Billups ? No way, these guys are underrated by anyone serious with BBALL and NBA.

I wouldn't even call Rondo underrated. How could I ? He starts at the Celtics and we had time enough to recognize that he had skills BEFORE he played playoffs !

Just don't get the thread. Close it ... or whatever ...
