Interesting thread....

Rondo is our ballhawk
Powe was fantastic at taking charges
KG was the anchor (when healthy)
Perk was our intimidator and did a great job against Dwight in the playoffs (though he isnt necessarily a shot blocker)

For the Raptors

best perimeter defender - Anthony Parker
best lockdown defender - Shawn Marion
best interior defender - yea I'm going to have to say Bargnani over Bosh, he really bulked up, led the team in blocks and made a stand against other centres around the league

the only thing i remember about diawara is that he toasted the nets that one game. that was probably the game of his career.

lol yeah the kings were hurting for some inside help. i thought mikki moore would've been a nice addition but he turned out to be a bust. i still like the guy though.

lol when yi owns you for i dunno how many pts, that's when you know you need some defense.

Hawes and Thompson can both be excellent post defenders (both have more room for a lot more muscle on their frames), but they're still babies.

It's sad that Chandler, an SF, led our team in blocks when he didn't even start every game. We need a shotblocker so bad.

chandler. also, harrington played some pretty good one on one defense when he put his heart and soul into it. and hughes.

milicic, hill, and toney douglas may add some defensive intensity to our non existent defense hopefully.

yeah parker was tight on vc when vc hit that three on him. probably the best shot ive seen vc make in the clutch. it also mightve been parker that vc lost in the post for the alleyoop dunk.

Best perimeter defender: Captn' Jack
Best Interior defender: Andris for post defense, but some could argue Ronny cuz. he's a crazy shot blocker.
