08-01-2009, 03:44 PM

Terrence Williams is great defensively but needs to polish up his offensive game just like every other rookie.

08-01-2009, 03:51 PM
I haven't heard of him until the NBA draft, never seen any videos of him
so I gotta wait until I see him play in a NBA game

I see him as a future role player.

08-01-2009, 03:59 PM
He should be a long time starter in the league.

08-01-2009, 04:00 PM
How did he play in Summer League?

08-01-2009, 04:07 PM

those have all the stats from the ORL SL. He didnt got o Las Vegas.
I watched all the streams when they were streamed live and his shot definitely needs work. Nothing wrong with the mechanics but needs more reps. I didn't like the number of turnovers he had. His defense was as good as it's rep. he did well against rush when he was matched up against him but guys with a better dribble found ways to beat him better. he rebounds well for a guy his size and has an nba ready body.

T-Will will be a solid player. He just needs to polish his jump shot, and then he will be set

Highlight reel player, but I'm telling you hes not 6'6 I stood next to him and he was at most 2 inches taller than me (I'm 6'2) so...he can't play the 3.

08-01-2009, 04:14 PM
In his prime he might start

08-01-2009, 04:19 PM
he'll be a starter

08-01-2009, 04:23 PM
I think he will be a legit Starter in the NBA, once the Nets kick Douglas-Roberts to the curb....

OT: Is Chris Douglas-Roberts a projected started for the Nets?

He will be a star. Let me tell you why he has everything in his game. He plays defense he's a playmaker he has an NBA ready body and all he needs to do is fix his jumpshot but that comes very easily a few years into the league. This guy was very underrated IN THE DRAFT.

08-01-2009, 04:26 PM
from his interviews i sense a huge ego, cockiness, and confidence. which may not be a bad thing.

08-01-2009, 04:42 PM
cdr actually did really well for the nets. courtney lee is gonna start at sg.
i actually like cdr a lot. he can do fine when he is asked to not be the main offensive threat. i watched the game where the coach told him to facilitate and defend and only do those things. i think he shot three times in that game and did really well. also frank said that cdr was the bright spot on the nets at the end of last season.

08-01-2009, 04:58 PM
i crunched some numbers. for the last few games when he actually started getting playing time (when he got over 20 mins) his production was 13ppg 45/89 (0.505)fg% 3/8 (0.375) 3pt% 25/30 (0.833333333) ft% 2.66 rpg 3apg 2TOpg 0.88 stls/g 0.44 blks/g. Not too bad for a second rounder who didn't get any playing time during the year except til the end.

he should rebound better though for his size. i like his work ethic and competitiveness. im also glad he grew half an inch this summer.

08-01-2009, 05:00 PM
yeah i got that too. he is very confident of himself.

J-Rich 2.0

08-01-2009, 05:09 PM
lol i dont think he has the scoring instinct of jrich or the touch but thanks id like to see that kind of production out of him.

Ron Artest is THE reason why Lakers will win this upcoming season. NOt because of Lamar Odom. Artest basically came to LA for nothing... i mean nothing. Artest who is a great talent, he is a scorer, top defender, strong, powerfull, brings toughness and has a good work ethic and a clown at times. Artest will be making the same amount as Sasha, Walton and Adam Morrison. That is ABSURD!!! HE avg 17pts, 5rpg and 1.5spg and he is going be a Laker because he WANTs to be a LAKERs and that is the reason y the Lakers are going to win. Kobe, Artest and Pau are the reason y Lakers will win another ring PERIOD!!! Walton, Sasha, Morrison are OVER PAID!

08-01-2009, 05:25 PM
i think he will be a solid starter.

def not a scorer though after watchin him in summer league. he really has no offensive moves at all besides his signature "dribble hard to the basket and fly towards the hoop and see what happens lol". his utter lack of offense is what will keep him from stardom....

he will be a LOCKDOWN defender and he rebounds extremely well from the guard position.

and if he learns to knock down the three with consistency he will be a great counterpart to d harris.

he will be a fan favorite no doubt, but no star.

i like this kid. don't think he'll be an allstar, but should have a good nba career. will be a future slam dunk champion. one of the most athletic players in the nba.

No as of right now Courtney Lee is the projected starter..but im looking forward to seeing CDR he played the hoole season lioke the mere thought of playin in the nba is terrifying but he came on real strong late and i think it really chenged his game..i think if he keeps up his focus he can start for this team or play at the 3

I agree.
Have you seen the video of Artest playing the JAZZ and yelling NO LAYUPS! You guys got yourself a true baller.

At the moment, yes, because i'm a homer, i'm pretty happy that we got him. I wouldn't have mind anyone else, but he's a great pick for us.

Defense was what we needed. T-Will can play solid defense and knows how to keep on the guy pretty good.

His offensive game needs some polishing definitely, but like they say, "a good defense is a good offense." hahaha.

I like his dunks though. I also like the fact that he tries to mimic Lebron's game.

08-01-2009, 09:03 PM
haha first it was magic. now he says james. nice that he worked with gary payton over the summer.
