Someone who's a non-traditional center. If Amare plays a few minutes at C this year he'll get it, or possibly Al Jeff or Duncan (if they play enough C mins to qualify).

no seriously, it's Bynum
bwahahahahah

i know every non laker fan hates his guts even if they dont hate the lakers, but oh well.

he was 3rd last year behind yao and shaq.
but knowing the NBA Yao will still be on the ballot and get voted in even though he cant play.
then duncan or pau or a'm'a'r'e' could start center

Well since Tyson Chandler is gone (wouldn't have won if he stayed) it's obviously gonna be Emeka Okafor right? lol, most likely Duncan or Stat I know they aren't true centers but they will be on the ballot

Big Al Jefferson should be......gasol probably will though

Yao will win the vote. Al Jefferson will be named starter in his place. Just a guess

Bynum if he recovers and plays really good.

Hopefully a PF like Pau, Duncan, Amare etc. Jefferson would be fine too.

Depends how Okafor plays alongside Paul... although he probably won't get a lot of votes.

Okur has a decent shot at it, if he stays healthy and boozer is gone, he'll have a chance to get a lot a decent amount of shots.

i think if you put bynum in the conversation you have to say oden as well

I think it will be Al Jefferson he puts up huge numbers and is ready to be an allstar Bynum will get some heavy consideration since he is part of the Champion Lakers.

Memet Okur has a good shot as well as Beidrins (most likely Okur could get a backup role)

If Amare plays ctr for Phoenix he's a lock

Pau Gasol.

I think he'll be on the ballot as a F with Bynum listed as the LAL C. Bynum might actually win the vote, if Yao is not on the ballot.

If Yao remains on the ballot (which he should NOT) then he still has a good chance of winning the vote.

It will all depend who's listed at C. Duncan & Amare are the possible candidates. I don't think Al Jefferson would get enough recognition to win the vote.

They better put Gasol, Duncan and Stoudamire in the C ballot this year or we may end up starting Okafor, Bynum Oden..... or something like that...

most likely it will be a non-traditional center such as duncan or al jefferson, unless bynum has deserving stats, it will also depend on how the voting will go down. If the nba includes players like duncan and jefferson under the center's section then they will b the most likely candidates. if not, then who knows lol

no because at least bynum has shown glimpses of being special and oden hasn't

Pau has almost no chance of being listed as C.

He's going to be playing prob 70% of his minutes as a PF alongside Bynum at C, especially if LO doesn't come back, which it doesn't look like he will.

I'm pretty sure Duncan will be listed as a C with their lineup as is, so he will most definitely get the start.

I give Bynum very little chance of making it, even if he comes back firing on all cylinders and being as dominant as he was during those two stretches. He would still be a 3rd option at best on the Lakers.

not even that

i guess everyone here is forgetting that the fans vote for starters
if yao is hurt and not on the ballot, with no shaq around bynum will start

stoudamire... he'll be playing C this year and the pick and roll will be in full effect with Nash.

Duncan and Bynum as back up. My opinion is based on last years votes.

it really depends on which team has more fans. right now it looks like gasol/bynum cuz there's gonna be more lakers fans next year just like before.

Jefferson.

Others would be Duncan, even if not a C, and Nene & Bynum

I think It will be Amar'e cause last time he had to play center for the suns and when he did was a sure fire vote getter and started in the all star
