Who would you sign to the Knicks as you have enough money to sign 2 Team USA caliber players(ex. Bosh, James,Wade), and 2 midlevel player signings(ex.Brandon Roy,Rasheed Wallace) ?

...did u really use Brandon Roy as an example of a midlevel signing. Im sorry Brandon Roy is top 5 shooting guard in the league. In fact, Kobe Bryant is #1, D-Wade is #2, I might say Brandon Roy is 3rd.

He commands superstar money...

The Knicks sign anyone who is willing to go to the Knicks. If they don't snare two excellent players, that organization will be hurting for the foreseeable future.

I do like that (1) You think Brandon Roy is an MLE type player; and (2) That as a RFA, Portland wouldn't match an offer of the MLE for Roy.

As of now the knicks will only be able to bring in 1 max player next year and that would eat up the rest of the cap. So i dont know where your getting this 2 superstars as well as 2 mid level players. Thats 50 mil in cap space alone and thats all each team will even get next year. Delete this thread it has no meaning.

Roy would need to make like 17M for portland not to match...Wallace will stay with the celtics so your o for 2... if they sign james and wade then oh my goodness they will be a top team...middle guys, id take shaq and TJ Ford...make pick up outlaw and rodger mason and you have urself a good bench as well ... of course I don't see any of this happening

Anything less then Lebron James or Dwayne Wade would be failure for them in my eyes. They need a star.

The Knicks first need to get rid of Curry and Jeffries... easier said than done, but they really need to get rid of them to even have a chance at signing two top free agents. If they don't they will only have a shot at one... and I doubt James, or other top level players, wants to come to the big apple all alone.

Care to explain why we'll be "hurting for the forseeable future?"

It's not like we'll be tying up our money into Yao Ming or something.

We'll just go after the 2011 FA crop while developing the young core.

Also LOOOL at Brandon Roy for the MLE. He must really love New York ;)

I'd attempt to sign Joe Johnson ($17.5M) and Amare ($15M).

Sessions/JJ/Chandler/Amare/Lee

with Duhon/?/Gallinari/Hill/? off the bench.

Honestly it's LeBron or bust in 2010
Roy is not a Mid Level exception player...lol....he'll get Kobe/Wade money easily. As for 'Sheed, he's past his prime and not worth anything, the celtics have him locked assuming they do well this year.
