i think rose has good chance of making it this up coming season, he is the best bulls player, as as for Deng maybe not a all star but he will surprise alot of people this year, comeback player of the year.

1. Deron Williams

gotta think that the bulls will be pretty much at the same level as last year, i know they lost Gordon but he did chuck up alot of shots, with him now gone rose will be the go to man down the stretch.

I'm sceptical about deron williams...
no one questions his all-star-caliber, it's just that the west is so damn deep at the guard positions

kobe and paul are locks to start if not ijured

so daron hast to compete with
steve nash
chauncey billups
tony parker
manu ginobili
brandon roy

for four spots MAXIMUM
probably rather three spots, because it's doubtful that both generic position spots go to guards... that also probably means NO chance for monta ellis, kevin martin, baron davis, oj mayo because their teams won't be good enough.

al jefferson depends on who is listed as a center (stoudemire? duncan if he starts alongside mcdyess?)

not sure about kevin durant, because too many good players at his position and bad team... but he could make it.

east: rose is a good guess, maybe hedo...

Not a chance in the forward heavy west.

Kevin D.
Andris B.

Biedrins is a good one. If Yao misses the season, the back up center in the West is wide open (I'm assuming Al Jefferson would jump ahead of his peers there). Andrew Bynum could possibly perform well enough to compete for a spot.

POSSIBLY Al Jefferson. I want him to do great and be in the all-star game. I also expect him to get in sooner or later. The only problem is his ACL injury which usually takes over a year to recover. The latest thing I heard is that he is questionable for training camp. If he can't even play training camp and has to still rehab, then he may miss some of the beginning of next season and when he finally comes back in December (?), then he would be really rusty. He wouldn't be able to make enough ground. I'm going to keep my reservations about Jefferson until I hear he will be back by training camp or something just as positive.

I believe this will be a very intersting year for All-Star voting with the way the league is shaping up (6-8 true contenders that are stocked with studs, another 6-8 on the rise, and everyone else looking to rebuild)

I think Durant and Jefferson take Mcgrady and Yao's usual spots and Williams will get in if there is an injury to another player.

Kobe, Paul, Roy,Parker and Billups (4 of these 5 will make it again easy), kinda leaving Williams as odd man out.

Dont get me wrong Williams is a hellava player and he could also help in Milsap's arguement for a spot on an allstar team in the next few yrs.

C Duncan, Amare

Harris has a much better shot.

Well yeah. espscially because he was already an allstar last year.

you did know that right?

If you really didn't.... It's a shame how underrated he is

whoever is placed at centre in the west will make a difference in who wil be playing their first allstar game

duncan will as usual be placed as a pf even though he spends most of his time at the c spot, amar'e looks like he will be playing at centre this season so he could get the starting vote but if he is placed at pf this year then.....dare i said it, bynum could get the starting c spot as a result of dumb lakers fans voting him in.

d-will should already have has his first game though it is very very tough in the gaurd heavy west! he is an easy pick as he is probably the best player without an allstar game though he has to get past so many other gaurds. d-rose....possibly. durant is a good shout as is al jeff, based on who is placed at the c position

West
Deron Williams is just about a lock barring injury like last season
Kevin Durant is going to make it
Al Jefferson is also a lock to make it barring injury

East
Derrick Rose's popularity went to another level after the playoffs, he may be voted an allstar
David Lee if he remains a Knick has an outside chance

amare and duncan are both pf .
since yao is gone 4 season and shaq is back in the east, I'm hoping that Bynum will make it .

Duncan will probably be listed as the Center because Mcdyess is not a Center.

KMart was a 1 time all star back in the day, and Roy is already a 2 time all star.

Plus theres no way Kmart would ever even be close to being an all star with Dirk, Gasol, Amare, David West, and Carlos Boozer being way better.

He was talkin' about a different K-Mart.

He was talkin about Kevin Martin, not Kenyon Martin.
