ok we have some foreign all star players.

Ming, Pau, Nash, Parker, Manyu, Peja, Kirilenko etc.

so who do you think will be the next ones to reach all star level in the league?

dont tell me No one , because international game will go on developing like it or not.

Rudy Fernandez. He has a lot of upside. If he works hard, maybe he can become an allstar one day. He definitely has some talent, but he is still kind of raw.

Fran Vasquez... man imagine if he ever came to the Magic. Out of those I said Bargs.

Im gonna go with Bargs. There's just something special about the kid. He, DeRozan, and hopefully Bosh (if he stays beyond this next yr) can lead the team to future successes in this league

vasquez will report for 10-11 season.

two seasons TOO LATE because his spot will be covered by not ONE but TWO veterans with leerage over him, bas an gortat so he wont see minute swil bust and go back to spain in one year.

had he gone there lAST SEASon he woul have won a starting spot alongside Dwight and due to be a VERY GOOD DEFENDER they may have even stopped gasol and odom and won the finals. sad story for both franchise and p'layer.

I agree with another poster I think NENE will make it as a C in the West this year

Nope, its America's hat. Its like the loft apartment above a really good party.

Biendrins is the allstar not b/c hes a great player but for the system he plays in. Hes the stat machine for a fast paced offense.

nah Canadian is not foreign. the NBA has a franchise there, so its part of the NBA's jurisdiction.

Come on guys let's think about this logically, it has to be either Biedrins, Marc Gosol, or Nene. The west no longer has any big name centers, unless the Chinese find a way to vote Yao in. Depending on what kind of season these guys have and how there teams play one of these guys could very well be on the roster this up coming season. All the other positions are well stacked so even though you may see guys that will have awesome seasons (Gallinari, Fernandez, Biedrins, Bogut, Calderon) they've got some pretty heavy competition (Pierce, Iguodala, Granger, Bryant, Roy, O'Neal, Howard, Rose, Rondo, Arenas, ect.)

Lopez is going to be a good player in this league but Bargnani is the more talented player (offensively its not even close). Had Bargs started as many games as Lopez last season I reckon the gap in scoring average would have been more than just two. On top of that Bargnani shoots a solid 3 point percentage and that kind of gimmick attracts attention, especially in the all star forum.

godd question i knew i forgot someonw importnat thats why i added the "other" option,

For what i see Serge Ibabak is an unknown so he will be a pleasant surprise for you.

I expect him to be at all star this same season.....On rookie game and on Dunk Contest wait and see.

Im pretty sure having a first name of Hidayet and a last name of Turkoglu makes you a foreign player and pretty sure he is a pretty descent player that has had some allstar talk in years gone past. Just sayin

he is a very good player, and he's great for his system. he'd be my pick too.

Oh. Well if Bosh leaves maybe he'll make the move to PF. I know it wouldn't be much easier to making the all-star team then, but if he reaches his potential then I think he could get in eventually. Shaq really shouldn't make the team but he probably will simply based off name recognition.

bargnani because he is in the east and he can easily slide into the backup center spot on the all-star team after shaq retires

Bargs or Calderon. I can see Calderon getting in this year, behind Rondo and Rose. Jameer and Harris are tough competition, but I think Harris is vastly overrated, and Jameer isn't a lock.
