Yao will either get the votes, and if not on the ballot, get written in to start. However, if Al Jefferson plays healthy from game 1, I see him as the starter, since I think he will be named by the coaches finally.

Yeah, Ill go with Al Jefferson, if he plays C.

Pau Gasol will start at center and Nene/Okur will back him up.

I'm gonna say if Bynum is doing 15 and 8 then all the Laker fans around America wote him to start and Al Jefferson or Nene will play the bench.

EDIT: If Gasol is on the ballot as a center than Pau will win hands-down barring injury, I thought with a healthy Bynum, Gasol's name may be put in the PF slot but I guess we'll wait and see

Maybe even Al Jefferson.

Duncan if he starts at C. He might be put on the ballot as a C this year. He was listed as a C last year but they moved him to the F spot because they wanted him to have a chance at starting.

Jefferson will be backup.

Jays Claw

They could start Tim Duncan at PF and Pau Gasol at C.

Ohhh, I completely forgot about Nene.

He will definitely be up there in votes.

Duncan and Gasol will prolly be PFs'. If not Duncan at C and his back-up will be Big Al if he stays healthy or Okur.

Brook Lopez

well, the problem for Bynum will be this. Yao will get the votes to be the starter. Period. On the ballot or not. That would mean, either Gasol misses, or the Lakers get 3. Not a very good chance, unless Bynum just explodes, which is also a long shot.
I really thing if Al Jefferson starts the year healthy, he finally makes it. He will clearly start at C, since Love is now their PF.

True true, I'm buggin. I think it'll be Tim Duncan at C, and then possibly Amare at PF. Al Jeff will back up Tim

I think AL Jefferson will make it. And who knows, Tyson Chandler is my Drak horse.... two years ago he put up 12 and 12.... I think 16 and 12 gets him in the all star game

Jays Claw

Tim Duncan will start at C and Amare Stoudemire will start at PF.

Pau Gasol will back up Amare Stoudemire and Al Jefferson will back up Tim Duncan.

Duncan will most likely start. The backup will be a toss up. It depends who stays healthy and play better.
