"After signing seven-year veteran forward/center Chris Wilcox to a two-year deal worth $6 million Saturday, the Pistons probably will make two more roster moves before training camp opens in October.

They're expected to sign another veteran big man, Ben Wallace or Rasho Nesterovic, and a third point guard, to one-year deals at the veteran's minimum ($1.3 million). Shooting guard Deron Washington also is expected to be invited to camp with a solid chance at winning a roster spot."

For the vets minimum.......why not. They need a body in the middle and if they can't pull of a trade, there isn't much left. Maybe a return to Detroit may spark Wallace.

I am sure the Pistons and there fans have no delusions of being an eastern conference power. Its Celts, Cavs, and Magic then everyone else.

Wallace or Nesterovic is a warm body for a year.

I hope they sign Ben Wallace and not Rasho Nesterovic so the Raptors can sign him.

I dont want Wallace. I am still mad about the way he left and am happy at how badly he failed.

As long as the other one goes to the Raptors for veteran minimum.

I don't mind Wallace on the Raptors as long as he signs for cheap. Wallace might be able to teach the Raptors how to play defense.

You cant be mad at the guy for that. He had a team willing to write a big cheaque (way more than Detroit was offering) and he took it. He was undrafted and made next to nothing for years (while he won DPOY and a ring) and he left so he could have his family living comfortably. Do you think his wife would let him walk away from a contract like that to stay in Detroit? Come on. He didnt screw Detroit over at all, he got his while he still thought he had soome years in him...

I think Rasho would rather come to Toronto... his kid was born here.

Wallace is beyond his prime, I feel like retirement may be best for him. The Piston's team defense just won't be the same without Billups, Sheed and perhaps even Hamilton (two minute-hungry shooting guards for one position, Rip maybe on his way out) The overall Piston's d made Ben Wallace seem better than he really is IMO, I mean one second he's DPY in Detriot and the next he's forgotten in Chicago. Nesterovic will be a solid backup for either team (Det or Tor), but neither of those two guys are starter-material

Rasho Nesterovic would gladly take a minimum salary to be back in Toronto.

Not only would it be better for Ben Wallace to sign with the Detroit Pistons, and for Rasho Nesterovic to sign with the Raptors because they have played there before in the past, but also because their styles of play fits those teams.

Don't see rasho going anywhere but Toronto, he has said many times that he would love to come back to the raptors. Don't see him with pistons.
