I would have expected that game 7 in 2008 in the semifinals between the Cavs and Celtics to be a blowout. Didn't think Cleveland could hang with Boston but they nearly pulled off the upset.

I also thought the Spurs vs Hornets game 7 in 2008 would be a blowout considering that the Hornets blew out the Spurs each game in New Orleans that year.

I believe it was 1998...Bulls vs. Pacers, expected Chicago to beat them by at least 20.

Exactly, a better question would've been, Game 7s in NBA History that you thought would be close but were blowouts. Maybe Orlando vs Boston this season?

If a series is going the distance, why would anyone think it is going to be a blowout?

I thought Boston Chicago Game 7 this year's playoffs.

I thought the game was going to be a blowout, but the Celtics only won by 10.

because it happens. BOS vs. ATl 2008, ATL vs. MIA 2009, and plenty more

Every game in Boston was close though.

No Orlando beat them by 19 in game 7 or the second round

They were getting blown out in game 7 until they came back in the last 4 minutes.
