Ok, not to burst anyones bubble but we are around 10 games back in the division and 8 in the wildcard. Both the Yankees and RedSox have great teams and are both looking toward a championship run. Not to mention the Tampa Rays. Plus we had a great start and still are that far away. So whenever the time is, it's time to get ready for next year. I still think if we pick up a decent player we can make a run this year.. but it's unlikely.

If we trade Roy Halladay we are rebuilding, and if we don't then we are making a run next year.

So if we trade Roy, who should be traded with him and who should be brought up from the minors.

If we don't trade Roy, who should we trade to make us better for next year, and if anyone, should we bring anyone up from the minors to prepare them for next season. Lets here your thoughts.

I think no matter what happens with Roy, we need to bring up Travis Snider, Brian Dopirak and the catcher Arencibia. These are 3 of our top prospects and for us to do well, they need to be there performing. That means sending down Raul Chavez and getting rid of Millar and Dellucci.

next years depth chart.
1b - Dopirak
2b - Hill
SS - Scutaro
3b - Rolen
OF - Wells
OF - Rios
OF - Snider
C - Arencibia
DH - Lind

Starting 5
Cecil/Rzepczynski/Mills etc.

** of course any trades could happen and free agent pickups but with this, we are younger and deeper and if prepared well this year, we may have a chance

No Litsch?

FYI - No way the lineup competes with the Yanks, BoSox and Tampa.

Overbay to the bench eh? Why would Dopirak surpass him in the next 3 months?
