The Espys will be aired on the 19th but the ESPY's was today and one of my friends went to the ESPY's and said Lebron won. I know i might get flamed or get sarcastic stuff about my post since i have no link but i don't post any threads for no reason or just to be funny and stupid.

Anyway on topic, ESPY's is of course not live since it just happened but it's aired in the 19th. And lebron apparently won the male athlete of the year.

all i can say is wow. Over Micheal Phelps? Really? 8 gold medals is not enough? :pity:

congrats lebron (and by the way, the marijuana picture killed Phelps' image for him to win that)

now onto the real ones, who won best championship performance and who won best championship team???

I think that LeBron is the right choice but I have to say that being one of the biggest LeBron fans on the planet.... but truthfully it should have been Phelps but i think the weed thing actually hurt him

Fredy Montero = Best player in MLS Landon Donaven is not 1 goal away from the Leauge Leaders in Goals and second in assists not to mention they played the same amount of games. This just goes to show you Seattle will never get anythn over LA... even if rightfully deserved.

Roger Federer wins nothing? He only established himself as the greatest of all time this year.

The problem here is that he is not American, and the fact that he broke an American tennis players record doesn't help his case.

I didn't think they gave out an award for best tennis player when Nadal is injured award.
