After looking at how the east is shaking up after some free agent signings. It got me thinking about Phili who has yet to do very much at all. My question is, how good do you think brand will be this coming season. I would imagine that he will rebound from a bad year but will he come back to the form he once was. What are your thoughts?

Over the 25 games that he plays...he'll average almost 15 points and 8 rebounds...then he'll spend the other 57 games swimming in his fortune like Scrooge McDuck while injured.

y does everyone think he is injury prone now?? His injury last yr was not his fault at all...

I say 18 - 9

Well who's fault was it? Did somebody hit him the knee with a metal bar? He had a sprained ankle and a messed up shoulder. When u missed 2 straight season and you are approaching yo 30's, people start to question your health. Now grant hill proved you can be injury prone for years and still manage to be productive in his later years.

So we will see which Elton Brand we get this year.

Whats all this hate for Brand now?

18/9 is fair. Although he could easily go for 20/10.

I don't think 20/10 is easy after coming off the injury he just had..

I think he'll have a rebound year especially if Philly hasn't resolved their PG situation yet. If neither Lou Williams or Jrue Holliday can facillitate that balls to the wall pace that they like playing, throwing the ball into Brand in the half-court would be their next best option as he is capable of drawing doubles.

Depends how he recovers from injury, the highest level I can see him playing at next year is 16-8.
