According to a league source, the Pistons turned down a trade offer that would have had them receiving Carlos Boozer from the Jazz for Tayshaun Prince.

That would have been a really good trade for both teams. I wonder why they denied it.

I'm guessing because Detriot already inked Charlie Villaneuva.

I think CV could of played the SF spot.

A line-up of

Stuckey
Rip/Gordon
CV
Boozer
Maxielle???

wouldnt be that bad, but its not a title contender. And plus it wouldnt be guarenteed that Boozer would re-sign with Detroit.

Not good for the pistons

I am not a huge Boozer fan, so I think the Pistons made the right call. Boozer is not a center and that is what they need. Boozer will miss a lot of time with whomever he ends up. He plays little to no defense.

I think Portland Needs to offer more young guys for Teyshaun Prince. Travis Outlaw or Nicolas Batum, and Martell Webster might work if the Pistons are committing to rebuilding.

Are the Jazz trying to make the longest armed team in the league? Prince and AK47 could touch each other from different buildings

That'd lineup would make your top scorer 6'0'', your starting PF 6'9'' and your starting center 6'5''. That would not be a good think.

Bad Deal for the Pistons, Daye hasn't even seen a minute of the NBA so trading Prince makes him the starter. Rip spot is tradeable, nor prince.

 I hope we really make a deal with Portland to get younger....As for the Boozer trade, I like that Joe turned it down...we need a Center not a PF.

If I were the Pistons, I would trade Prince to the Blazers for Prybilla and Webster.

Actually, no I wouldnt

We'd get Boozer, but only for one season. This guy would pick the Clippers over the Lakers if he knew he could get even $1 more on his contract. Besides, why pay 15 million a year for Boozer when you can just play C-Vil for 7 million a year and spend the rest of that money on areas of need?

It would be weird to see two similair players in Prince and AK47in the same uniform.

I like the fact that Dumars wants to hold onto Prince...there aren't too many versatile high quality guys like him the the league.
