Everyone is talking about Ricky Rubio like he's the future for PGs, but his lack of respect for NBA organizations and fans of the sport, alike, just killed it for me. Yet, there's kids like this 14 year old grade 9 kid who is waay more humble and skilled than Rubio. His name is Cezar Guerrero. This 5ft-11inch kid is ******** with the ball in his hands. Creates plays for himself, breaks defences down like Jenga, has a near perfect passing skills, can find teamates easily...and has a shot stroke that is very smooth. Most importantly, he is very humble. Check this out.....

Of course he is humble. He is 14 and has not gotten Rubio's level of exposure. You just better hope he does not read this thread or his humility will be out the window.

He should play against better competition then. Cause Rubio played like pro ball from his 15th or something?

he's 14, so... .he's like 5 years from being whatever he's going to be.

secondly being humble in the nba is sooo not important.
you better believe you're the best damn player in the universe or you're not going anywhere.

Kentucky's not recruiting him. Notre Dame, Texas, Santa Clara, Arizona, Pepperdine, UCLA and USC are the teams that have currently shown interest. Rivals has him as a 4 star and scout has him as a 3 star.

hes going into the 10th grade. Most kids turn 16 in late 10th grade or early 11th. If he has a summer to fall birthday this would make sense

idc what anybody says, that kids got SKILLS. he has a bright future in front of him. he did a couple of moves that made my jaw drop, he makes look to easy. then again, it is high school basketball and not pro ball.

He's just a kid playing against kids...there's a lot of kids his age dominating at their level. However he hasn't face the grind of a professional basketball league, because in this country we believe in education and growth. However that being said Rubio was doing these thngs in pro games against grown men! Rubio is only doing what a spoiled Eli Manning did with the advice of his father. He's a kid and he's listening to his dad. I have no beef with Rubio and as for Czar, lets see what he does freshman year against div 1 competition.

Well, if i'm right Rubio started to play pro at 14.
But when he played some international competition with guys of his age he putted up something crazy like 50-20-20.

Also i might be wrong but I believe Ricky was picked as best defender (and best 3pt shooter?) in Spain.
Against the USA he injured his wrist and the injurity lasted most of the season but by the end of the season he was shooting like 43% which is not so bad.
Something true is the guy doesn't have a jumper and he is not strong enough to guard Deron Williams but those are certainly things easier to learn than those that he already has.
Rubio is probably the player with the highest ability to read what is going to happen with the ball in the next seconds. Certainly he's average in some areas but being the best in something puts you ahead of most.

His game is very mature and smooth for his age. But until he is on a college team or in Europe don't take the hype.

How many people do you know who were absolute stud athletes in 9th grade but by 11th and 12th grade every other kid caught up to them and they were bench warmers? This kid is playing against a bunch of 9th graders, who cares if he's the best!?!?! Hell, the rim might not even be at 10' for all we know.

Do they get snacks after the game?

ok i been on this site for like 4 yrs but never registered, and now that i see this thread i registered because i know this kid. not personally but he went to my high school for one yr.

he's not humble at all when the camera is off him, he does have some crazy handles though and yea he has offers by AZ,UCLA,USC, Santa Clara and i forgot what others.
i've seen him do some pretty crazy stuff on the court but the competition at my old high school is not good at all, so thats why he transferred back to his old high school since its a better division .
but ya hes legit he could really make it.
also hes teamate bobby miles is not so bad either hes a year older but hes has better fundamentals but lacks some of those flashy moves

Well you could always show a video of a kid's success... any statistics? His crossover may be nice, but his FG% could be trash. We would've hurt about him if he was that great, they knew about LeBron from like birth practically.

he carries the ball non stop, but looks good. How tall is the kid? Despite his crossover skills, he didn't really look like that great of an athlete, it will be tough for him to excel at the NBA level unless he grows some. He isn't that fast. Nice stroke though. We will see how his game grows in the next couple of years.
And the reason Rubio was famous by his age, is because Rubio was putting up 50 point, 20 assist games in the Euro under 16 championships, and went pro the following year, at 15. This kid has nothing on Rubio

PLEASE! He's playing against garbage high schoolers. Sure, he's got handles, but I don't see any premier passing skills. His shot looked aight, although he was wide open on most of them.

Let's not say he's better than ANYONE yet, other than the high school kids he balled. Rubio was playing professionally at Cezar's age.

nice dribbling but theres plenty of kids all over the country that can do those same moves but even faster, there was only maybe two or three highlights of him passing which rubio does in an abundance. this kid is more of a score first type of point guard which if you check the history most of those type of point guards have high turnover ratios. he has a long way to go to catch up to rubio but the good thing is that he is young and still has time to learn but passing is a fundamental that has to be natural for you in order for you to be above average.
